I had reserved and paid for this tour, and based on the reviews, was eagerly awaiting.
The day before the tour, I received an email saying the tour was canceled because I was the only person registered. Hard to believe for a Saturday in June.
I asked the hotel staff to find another food tour, and after searching several, they were all fully booked!
I won't be relying on this tour provider again.

Really interesting stops and all of the food was excellent. Loved the market especially. Marta was very knowledgeable and fun.

My wife and I spent three amazing hours with our guide, Jose Manuel, enjoying the people, places, and foods in a city he so obviously loves. We will always look back fondly on the time we spent together in Porto. Thank you, Jose.

Our guide Marta was great - friendly and knowledgeable. It was good to see places we wouldn’t have eaten in otherwise, and to learn more about Porto. Would definitely recommend it.

Jose was a delight. The food was delicious, and made us feel we sampled the most important and high quality Portugese cuisine (no FOMO here). Jose was informative and friendly, and gave us some great recommendations. This was our 4th Secret Food Tour and we already booked our next one!

Spending a few hours with Marta was the highlight of our time in Porto. Marta is an enthusiastic guide who not only has a lot to share about local food offerings, but also provided interesting tidbits of information on the history and culture of the area.

We did the secret food tour of Porto with Jose Manual. He was very passionate and knowledgeable about his home city. He took us to 5 different food stops each with something different to try. Favourite stop was the market though the Francesinha stop was also a highlight. Highly recommend this company- it is the second secret food tour we have done. They have insider knowledge about food specialties in their town. Great way to be introduced to a new city and its cuisine.

Our guide was GREAT!!!! Knowledgeable, nice and informative. He spoke excellent English.
I think his name was Victor. It's been over before writing this review and I forgot.
He gave us an excellent overview of local foods and drink. I highly reccommend this tour.Put your walking shoes on. This town is hilly!
