On this tour we are going to visit the Girona coast, christened 100 years ago as the Costa Brava. The name is due to its unique rocky, rugged and cut shape coastline, composed of small coves surrounded by pine forests and lapped by crystal water.
The fame of Costa Brava is also due to its villages. Small fisherman towns, with whitewashed walls and narrow winding streets, today still retain their charm.
We will discover the southern part of the Costa Brava visiting two villages that represent the essence of that coast. They are opposed to each other but, at the same time, complementary, and after few hours after leaving Barcelona, we will go back with a complete idea of what Costa Brava is.

Costa Brava is a must see and was truly the most enjoyable experience! Elena was our tour guide and she is truly the best! She was extremely knowledgeable, kind, patient, and wants the tourists to have a good experience. The boat ride was refreshing and the views are absolutely stunning. When the boat stops to view the fish I would be careful as you may get sea sick from the intense rocking. Other than that small comment this is 100% worth the money and time. Do not miss on the optional walking tour through the old town!

Awesome day trip. I visited two amazing towns in Costa Brava. The highlight was the boat trip. You immerse yourself in nature. I liked hear interesting facts from the area. Our guide Monica was excellent.

I would recommend just taking a train directly to tossa de Mar. It was a lovely and interesting town. I could have spent the whole day there.

The tour of the village was the best, so beautiful and interesting. Elena was a great guide. We enjoyed hours this tour was a mix guided activity and free time.

Monica was excellent, just as all the other reviews said. Interesting Marathon on the trip out. The first stop had lots of great hikes and restaurants, in case you didn't get breakfast. No food or drinks, besides water, on the bus. We took the short hike and paid 3 euros to go to the top of the Castle - that was all we had time for. The boat ride provided beautiful views of the coast and we got to see a few fish under the glass bottom. Bumpy but fun. Monica led us on a tour of the old town, at the next stop. So many great "behind the scenes" stories you'd never hear elsewhere and gave excellent restaurant recommendations. Be sure to know the end point meet up, there was more than one Catalan flag, fortunately we ran into Monica and she directed us to the right one!

Wonderful tour, really knowledgeable guides. Beautiful itinerary, from tree time to the boat ride and walking tours. Definitely a highlight of the trip!! Monica was an amazing guide!!
