Visit and learn about two essential places in Madrid in one morning. We will start the day with a full visit to the Royal Palace, a gigantic building symbolic of the European monarchs, that will surprise us with its rich decoration and the number of rooms and halls it contains.
After a walking guided visit the main iconic places of Madrid between the Royal Palace and the Prado Museum, we will finish our journey with with a 90-minute tour of the Museo del Prado, seeing its most outstanding rooms and paintings. Special emphasis will be placed on the paintings that have in one way or another changed the history of art and become universal references. We will get to see works by Murillo, Velázquez, Goya, Rubens, and Tiziano among many others.
All of these visits will be made using points of preferential access, with official guides and with entrance fees included. This way, all that you have to worry about is enjoying Madrid and its beautiful monuments.

Incredible experience! Our tour guide, Laura, is an Art Historian and Art knowledge of the paintings at the Prado and the history and room descriptions at the Palace. We did a walking tour between the Prado and the Palace and she pointed out so many amazing sights.

The locations are worth the visit without a doubt! The tour was very informative and our guide was very well informed. This tour has up to 30 people which made staying close to the guide to hear every comment even using the headsets difficult. If walking a lot or fast is too much for you, this one is 20K steps.

This is a bit of a long day if you're traveling with kids, but it was also a wonderful day. The Royal Palace was our favorite and a can't miss attraction. Our guide, Marta, was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. We recommend.

Really love the tour although alot of walking. Our guide, Martha is friendly and entertaining as she make the tour enjoyable through living story telling. We started from the Royal Palace from a short walk from their office. Martha make sure no one is left behind and always check on the attendance. Good insights of the stories and show us how to identify the kings. The walking tour to Prado was an hour and it is enjoyable as she will guide us through the walk about the history of the city. There are short breaks to buy water and food at the mart. Thank you for making our tour pleasant.

I had a fantastic experience with Martha on our day of tours! The morning started at the Royal Palace, where Martha's deep knowledge and patience helped us appreciate the history and details. She ensured everyone was engaged and their questions answered.
In the afternoon, we explored the Prado Museum, which was truly amazing. Martha's expertise in art and history shone through, making each painting come alive with her insights. Plus, her delightful sense of humor made the tour both informative and entertaining.
Overall, Martha made the entire day memorable and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Positives - The guide was incredibly informative and knowledgeable, kept a brisk pace. Both of Madrid’s main attractions were covered in one day, the guide ensured we saw the best parts of both locations.
Negatives - We ‘skipped the line’ by avoiding the regular entrance, however we did have to line up at the entrance for the guided tours - so I’m not too sure that it can be called a ‘skip-the-line’ tour. The guide moved so quickly that many in the group struggled to keep up. As a group of 26 (too big), it was difficult to stay close to the guide, especially when walking in a line through the palace and the streets, and when you were more than 10m from the guide you couldn’t hear the audio anymore. One participant informed the guide of this as she was telling us about the sites in between the two locations, but she fobbed him off as we were running late for our booked time at the Prado Museum. The tour was exhausting! A massive day!
Recommendation - If you have the time, do these two sites on two separate days. Alternatively, take the option to get a taxi from the Palace to the Prado and have a drink while you wait for the group. The walking tour between the two sites isn’t necessary.

Espectacular tour por el Palacio Real y el Museo del Prado! El recorrido entre los dos lugares se hace a pie y también se van explicando lugares claves del camino. Un agradecimiento especial a nuestra guía, Marta. Su conocimiento sobre arte e historia hacen mucho más especial la experiencia. Estuve con mi hija de 9 años y se disfrutó el tour de principio a fin.
