Right by Franciscan garden stands tall gothic church with an unexpected history. Learn why this church, which was supposed to become the greatest church of Prague, was never finished, and admire its amazing interior with the tallest altar in Prague.

The oldest theatre in Prague city centre, the Estates Theatre, once hosted W.A. Mozart. Learn why he performed in Prague and why locals were opposing the theatre's construction.

Right next to Estates Theatre stands one of the oldest European universities - Charles University. Learn about life of the most famous Czech king Charles IV and why he is such important figure in Czech history.

Next on our way is a Powder Tower. Once the most representative entrance into the Old Town, later just a storage facility. Our guide will tell you why the tower has such strange history.

Next we'll stroll to the former Jewish Quarter of Prague. First stop will be the Spanish synagogue by which stands the statue of a famous Jewish writer from Prague - Franz Kafka

Next on our way is Prague's oldest synagogue - the Old New Synagogue. Get to know its story, as well as a story of all neighbouring synagogues - High Synagogue, Klausen Synagogue and Ceremonial Hall.

Known as one of the most enchanting cemeteries in central Europe, learn from your guide why is this cemetery so extensive and why is it one of the few old Jewish cemeteries that survived the WWII.

Finally, our last stop is at the Old Town Square - a true heart of the Old Town and a place with all styles of architecture you can think of. Let your guide tell you stories of its most famous sights, such as church of St. Nicholas, Týn Church, statue of Jan Hus as well as column of St. Mary.

Michal was fabulous! My family of 10 (all adults) did this tour along with 4 other adults. Michal started the tour giving us a history of the political conflicts over the last 100 hundred years. It was super interesting to hear the perspective of a Czech citizen. He then showed us many sites in New and Old Town, including many beautiful churches. We ended at the astronomical clock show. My family did 5 guided tours in our 2 weeks in Europe and this was by far our favorite tour—in great part due to Michal!

Honza(Jack) was an incredible guide. Our initially reluctant teenage boys also thoroughly enjoyed the tour. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and we got to learn about different aspects of Prague culture and history. The 3 hours flew by and I can wholeheartedly recommend the tour. Many thanks

Too much history and didn’t visit the important places. Didnt get the chance to visit the inside of places alot. Some of the churches scheduled were closed due to opening hours which they should have known. Visited old malls which was not interesting

Excellent tour guide really enjoyed him. Very approachable friendly . Answered all questions. He was very effective discussing the history in Winceslas Square and the Jewish quarter and current status. He was prompt and on time. I highly recommend this tour for an overview of Prague.

One of the best guided tours we’ve ever experienced. Honza (Jack) was friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about Prague and his country. We were lucky to have a private tour with just the four of us. Pace was comfortable with stops for rest and bathroom breaks. Covered lots of ground walking, city is compact. Would strongly recommend this tour!
