Join your guide for the afternoon walk in the footsteps of Czech kings all the way to the Prague Castle. First, we'll hop on a tram to bring us up the Prague Castle. But we won’t see it just from the outside. Let your guide take you in. See its history better. Up close. Personal. We’ll go through all the most important buildings in the Castle – St. Vitus Cathedral, Old Royal Palace, St. George’s Basilica and a Golden Lane. After a short walk you’ll see one of the most magnificent baroque churches in Prague – the church of St. Nicolas. Its majestic dome can be seen from most places in the city center. We’ll stop on Kampa Island to see love-locked bridge as well as the famous John Lennon’s Wall. Lastly, we'll tell you the story of magnificent Charles Bridge, which was the only way across the river throughout the medieval ages. So don’t just aimlessly wander around. Let our professional guide share the amazing stories of the City of a Hundred Spires.

We will go through the whole Castle complex, introducing you into the most important sights of the Castle, as well as showing you their interior.

Marvel at the most amazing building in Prague, a masterpiece of gothic architecture

See where Czech kings lived and where they spent their time when at the Prague Castle

We will visit the oldest church in the Prague Castle - St. George’s Basilica

We won't miss out on the most picturesque corner of the Castle - the Golden Lane

Tour ends at one of the most famous sights of Prague - Charles Bridge.

First the good: we saw a lot of sights that should be seen if visiting Prague especially the first time. Great way to see a lot quickly. Our guide Michael was very knowledgeable as well.

The not so good and I hope the tour company is listening. We met just beside the astronomical clock. We immediately left the area to catch a train and tram to our first stop. Not one word was said about the square or the clock so why did we meet here??? The train/tram tickets aren’t included which takes time for all to figure out how to get tickets. Now we are 20 plus minutes into the tour without a single bit of information. So why did we meet in the square??? While the group was around 26 people we did have headphones but our guide Michael was quick to always have his mic off while walking yet answering questions from our group that more people would have appreciated hearing I’m sure. Him answering questions and telling history to just a few people continued the entire time which was annoying and unfortunate. My group felt like we missed quite a bit of information about the city and its history.

So to the company:
1. Move the meeting spot or talk about the square.
2. Don’t make people buy train tickets.
3. Don’t turn the mics off when asked general questions. Instead repeat the question for the group and share the answer.

Overall I’d recommend the tour but this has been one of my least favorite due to the guide of all the tours I’ve done throughout Europe. However, Prague is lovely.

The tour provided an opportunity to visit the Palace complex and grounds. Since we met at the Old Town Square,I was expecting at least a little commentary about that -- but got none. I did not find the guide particularly well-spoken.

A comprehensive walking tour.
Michal our guide was excellent. Full of historical facts and made the tour really, really interesting.
I'd recommend this tour to anyone interested in history.
If anything, the tour is possibly too ambitious in trying to cover so much within the 3 hrs. Maybe there are two tours in it.

If you only have a weekend, or even a day, in Prague, this tour is fantastic! We saw the most important sites, including Prague Castle. I highly recommend this tour, especially with tour director Johann (sp?).
