Escape the fast-paced life of Tokyo and journey to Kamakura, the ancient capital of Japan and home of the Samurai. This tour offers history, culture, and natural beauty, all in one day.

Begin your tour at Tsurugaoka Hachiman Shrine, Kamakura's most significant Shinto shrine and the spiritual heart of the city.

Next, stroll down Komachi Street, a bustling shopping avenue brimming with local charm. Savor delicious local seafood, sample traditional snacks, and pick up souvenirs.

Then, visit Kotoku-in Temple to see the Great Buddha of Kamakura, the iconic symbol of the city. This immense bronze statue stands over 11 meters tall.

Continue to Hase-dera Temple. The temple houses an impressive eleven-headed statue of Kannon, the Goddess of Mercy.

Conclude your tour with a visit to Enoshima, a small island. Explore its shrines, enjoy the panoramic ocean views, and relax in the tranquil surroundings, making it the perfect end to your journey.

Unfortunately we missed the tour due to a misunderstanding of the location pickup. It was our fault but the tour operator was very receptive and answered all of my questions about the issue. They have even provided a 50% refund. Next time I visit I will certainly use their tours

This tour was the best value for money tour which I took in Japan. During the day we saw a lot! The tour was very well organized and our English speaking guide (lady) was very knowledgeable. On the way there there was an accident which delayed us by 1 hour and we spent a little bit less time on each place. Nevertheless we visited many places: 1) Tsuruoka Hachiman Shrine - shrine in little village with shopping 2 shopping streets, 2) Kamakura Hasedara Temple - which were about 4 - 5 temples with various size of Buddha and other religious statues (including hundreds of little gods). On top there were beautiful hydrangeas in this place. 3) Kamakura Buddha - big Buddha statue tall 11 meters which is 2nd biggest in Japan and last, but not least 4) Enoshima Island - with shopping streets and many stairs to view tower Enoshima Sea Candle (you can take also elevators on the way up for a fee). Except for nice view there were also beautiful flowers close to the tower. Overall very full and satisfying trip. I recommend.

When visit Tokyo, this is a great day trip away, Kamakura is a ancient capital Japan. We visited the Tsuruggaoka Hachiman Shrine, and than spent time on Komachi street. We enjoyed some street food that was very tasty. Some of the other highlights are the huge bronze Buddha and the famous eleven-headed state of Kannon the goddess Mercy. The final stop is Enoshima a small island located west of Kamakura. Beautiful garden and a whole lot more. If you are lucky you will get to see Mt. Fuji on a clear day.

Apparent poor preparation of English "guide" in mixed language group. No introduction the day or itinerary, no printed guide to first stop.
First stop also seemed overlong given the location, unless it was to provide a shopping opportunity.
This trip compared badly with the Hato Bus and Japan Panoramic tours I have been on recently.

The trip was well worth it. But our guide was not the best . She was a very nice lady but knew nothing about the stops we had. She just sent us off on our own to find out about them. Her name was Uki. As I said she was very sweet and helped us get a cab at the end of the tour, but wasn't really helpful during the trip. Great destinations though.
