Your driver will be waiting for you at your Hotel or at the port right where the ship docks, with an air-conditioned Luxury car, the journey to Rome from Civitavecchia it takes 90 min. approximately.
When in Rome you will stop at Navona Square, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps and of course at the Colosseum !
As you well know Rome is an open-air museum and between one stop and another you will have the opportunity to see driving through other wonders such as:
Piazza Venezia, Circus Maximus, Via dei forI Imperiali, Bocca Della Verità, jewish ghetto, Teatro Marcello and much more!
During the tour, your personal driver will share with you a small historical heritage of this wonderful city and will also suggest you restaurants and coffee shops, where you can stop and taste all the culinary marvels of the place (meals are at your own expense).
After lunch,Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel & the beautiful S. Peter Basilica if possible using our skip the line tickets.

We selected I-Tours for 3 of our shore excursions, Rome (Vatican), Livorno (Pisa and Florence) and Naples. Our tour guides for each city were amazing, they picked us up on time from the cruise port, showed us the sites and made sure we were back to the port in plenty of time. Coming from a cruise port, time is very limited, but our tour guides were able to show us as much as possible, even having time for some great lunch. All guides were great, but Adolfo was far above any guide we had on our entire trip ( total of 9 ports), he showed us the beautiful city of Positano, the Amalfi Coast and then finished with an amazing lunch at restaurant where all the kids made their own pizzas, definitely a highlight of our trip! Till today, the kids wont stop talking about their pizza in Naples! Our tour guide at the Vatican was phenomenal, Rabel was his name, I think, he made history fun for the kids, my son who did not want to go to the Sistine Chapel/Vatican, says that was his favorite part of the trip. Livio was my contact throughout the trip, he was extremely professional and responded very quickly, if you are looking for a trustworthy tour guide and making some amazing memories, I-Tours is a must!
