We took this tour on our first full day in London - it was a perfect start to our visit! John, our guide, provided entertaining and informative history lessons of the Tower while also giving us time to explore on our own. Climbing the stairs to Tower Bridge was a highlight!

Highly recommended tour of the tower and tower bridge, especially if you want to beat the queues and get tips on the key areas of interest.
John was an excellent tour guide. Very friendly, personable and knowledgeable and he told us so many stories about the fascinating history of the Tower. He also pointed out which areas of the Tower complex and the crown jewels to pay close attention to.
We got early access to the tower so we could see the daily opening ceremony with only about 20 people and John made sure to get us over to the crown jewels as soon as they opened so we beat the crowds. We had plenty of time to see the White tower and around and when it was time to go to the Bridge, John had all the tickets ready for us so we could go to the front of the queue. A wonderful tour and and tour guide! Thanks again John!

So much to see and he added a few extra points of interest.
One thing to watch for if you are planning another activity following the tour-
The end time of 11.15 is actually when you are to proceed to the bridge for a self guided tour. Allow more time to do this

Very good guide, knew the guards by name so it felt like we got a more personal experience. Getting in before the crowd is a huge time saver as we got in to see the Crown Jules before there was a line. By the time we got out there was a big line that became huge quickly. Lots of interesting facts and suggestions you wouldn’t get on your own. Only 4 out of five because the time to explore on your own didn’t feel like enough to see everything before you go to tower bridge. I honestly kind of wish we skipped the tower bridge part and stayed at the tower itself. The bridge is just an interesting looking somewhat old bridge, we didn’t see the draw bridge open the whole time we were there and the guide said it only opens 5-7 times a week these days. This isn’t the tours fault, I’m just including it in case it’s helpful for other visitors. I definitely recommend the tour. Also, our group was a very good size of twelve or so. We saw some of the other tours that appeared to have 30 or more people and everyone was jostling to try to see. One tour run by a guard the guard was yelling at the tour! I heard her say “You all might be on vacation but I’m not!” While she was trying to get them to gather around.

Ben was THE BEST GUIDE!!!! This was an highlight of our time in London. Having early access is absolutely the way to go and worth EVERY PENNY. All 4 of our grandchildren ( ages 9 - 13 ) thought it was one of the best things we did.

This was a great tour that allowed us to get into the Tower before the crowds. It was great to have the first look at the crown jewels without it being too crowded. John was a great guide as well!

Don was very knowledgable! I would have liked to have been able to just run in all the places right away before the crowds, then have the talking guide part. Getting in was fast and easy as was entrance to tower bridge

Amazing tour and WELL worth the extra money to get in early. We were literally the first people to see the Crown Jewels for the day and not more than an hour later the queue outside was super long and standing in the hot sun. Very informative with info only our tour guide Don was able to provide. Well done tour that we would recommend to anyone.
