Julio was well-preferred to guide us thru the Picasso Museum, as planned. He had insights to add at every turn.
We then surprised him and asked to tour some Gaudi architecture including the outside of LaSagrda Familia. He did not miss a beat and gave insights and comments non-stop--including during the cab ride.

Picasso museum. Guide was excellent at explaining the various stages of his life and how they changed his art.
Walk down to the old city was very informative.
Bonus suggestion of a good place to have lunch… good food and cheap!!

Was there in mid-October and love this museum. You glide through all the phases of Picasso's work from the very traditional and classical beginning to the very abstract of the later years....interesting how his friendships with other artists influenced his constantly changing style.....all very fascinating! There is so much to see. Wish I had done more preliminary research so I could have maximized my time there. The audioguide was a godsend....do not forego getting this with your ticket.
