Guided Bicycle Tour of Old Town Key West

This tour was a great introduction to Key West! The bike rides were nicely broken up with informative stops that helped us know what sights we wanted to revisit during our stay.

We took a cruise to Key West and were looking for something to do in the morning coming off the ship. Andre our tour guide met us and the rest of the group just outside the ship. Immediately he was friendly personable and took a few minutes to introduce himself to everyone and ask where they were from. Though simple, this gesture set the tone for the day. I’m an experienced cyclist and I’ve lead many group rides and events over the years. Getting a group of strangers even slightly more comfortable with each other helps with getting them comfortable riding together and ultimately being safe and looking out for one another.
We took a short walk to the shop, got our bike, had a safety chat and were on our way.
The beach cruiser bike I rode was comfortable and all was in good shape.
The tour was nice and chill with short and longer stops. Andre’s mix of humor and history was entertaining and made for a rich experience. He answered our questions, plus gave us some great travel tips and local insights.
This was definitely one of the highlights of our entire trip. I knew coming that seeing a town by bike is the best method no matter where you are but in Key West… Andre is the one you want leading your group.

Oh, and the chilled Key Lime pie at the end is worth every pedal stroke.

James was great. Plate fun, history, and (several) dashes of humor. Learning about the history through his eyes was great. Bikes are solid and the excursion is doable for everyone. Free cold water was a treat, and the lime pie slice was yummy. Go book this excursion.. You will be glad you did.

Andre was a great tour guide who Loves his job and makes it fun. Saw some great sites and his cheesy plastic smile at the southernmost stop was thr best part and cracked us up! His dad jokes could use some work LOL

Wicked fun tour! Casual ride with friendly, outgoing, & knowledgeable guide. Stops about every 1/4mi points out places of interests, plus recommended eats, drinks, & sweet tooth places that satisfy cravings & desires. James, well played; you're an A++ tour guide!

P.S.- the pie is magical!

A great way to see different parts of Key West. It was so hot though. The parts where we stopped to hear the guide talk about Key West history was interesting but too long due to the heat. I would prefer the ride was shorter (same amount of riding but cut out the talking). End with a jump in the ocean or something.

My wife and I had a blast on the tour. Dewey was awesome and super knowledgeable. Our only mistake was not doing the tour earlier in our trip. We came across different things we would have went back to explore. The key lime pie was the best I had on island. I went back for another piece the next day!

We had a key lime bike tour and it was the best decision ever! Our tourist was Dewey and he is so knowledgeable & friendly. We had so much fun for 2 hrs riding bicycles around the town. Highly recommended!!

Dewey was an excellent guide. Kept it funny, showed us tricks, interesting hidden secrets of Key West. Highly recommend. Would even do it again
