It was not the location my travel company had adver so i was disappointed when we arrived at the location. And then i was put on a table with strangers from a different country which as a single person was awkward. Had to share wine with them. I ordered beef cheeks, was given fish. When returned it , still didn't get the beef cheeks but a milinase
I think they struggle with English, although I pointed as well as used Spanish.

However the dancing was fabulous. But, long speeches, clearly with jokes all in Spainish so the show felt long for non Spanish speaker. Some people left early because of that.

At end I felt I was being hassled to tip. The others on my table had already left before the end without tipping and because I didn't get what I ordered I didn't tip but there was a bit of pressure to tip. I do tip normally but I felt let down because I wanted the beef checks but was given fish then milanese. Also no communication about transport back to hotel so left milling around.

But. , over all I was glad I went. The tango was fantastic

A really great tango show. Very professional, performed with enthusiasm, nicely presented. Highly recommended!

Dinner less than average. Food ok, served with cheap wines. The server was pretty good until just at the end of the dinner when he asked for a $10 tip per person, on a $50 dinner price. So 20% tip for an ok service at highly overpriced (for Argentina) dinner. You can eat well at a good restaurant for US$60-70 for two. Skip it if you can. Just the show.

The pricing feels like a scam. The hotel told us it would be US$120 per person for the show and dinner ($50), and peso price will be quoted based on the credit card rate (mep rate). When we came, we were told that the peso price is calculated on a much higher rate (way more than the going “blue” market rate). Converting this back to dollars at the going market rate the price for two was about $30 more. Overall not a very big deal, but we felt duped.

A round trip transportation is included, nice.
