Come and experience sake’s history and production on a 3 hour tasting tour. Tasting over 30 variety of different sakes, you will surely find your favorite one! Embark on this sake adventure. I welcome you to my sake tasting experience in Kyoto. Fushimi area is famous not only Fushimi inari but also sake production. Kyoto is 2nd biggest production in Japan. Basically Kyoto's sake tastes sweet because of soft water. We'll explore two of my favorite breweries, sake museum and local bar. I'm passionate about sake, and I’d like to share with you the process of sake making, comparing different kinds and brands. You will taste the differences between sakes—the highest quality, unfiltered, unpasteurized, and many other seasonable sakes. We help to find your favorite type of sake!

My wife and I booked this tour with two other friends and had a great time. We all enjoy sake, but were not very knowledgeable about it. This was the first time we were able to try so many and compare them. It was a really fun way to both explore a less touristy part of Kyoto and taste a lot of really good sake. Karen was a great guide, spoke excellent English, and helped us pick some tasty new foods to try after the tour.

We had Seigo as our tour guide and he was phenomenal! He was super friendly and informative! He guided us through the Fushimi Sake District and taught us more than any of us were expecting to learn! He went above and beyond! We highly highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in not only trying Sake but learning about the making of it, the history and culture of Kyoto and the hand it plays in the history of Sake!

Our tour guide Seigo was extraordinary, he was very compassionate, considerate, kind and such a sweet soul. He enlightened us with not only his kindness but the history of Kyoto throughout our tour, took us to many beautiful scenery’s and guided us to indulge in many different forms and flavors of sake. We walked away so thrilled by this experience and would have to say it was one of the best, thank you so much for a wonderful time and highly recommend everyone do this tour!
You do have to pay at the last location if you choose to do the extra 18 Sake tasting, which we did and do not regret at all, HIGHLY WORTH IT!

I went with Yurina, and as luck will have it I was the only one in this whole Tour. We visited several diffent sake breweries, everything was include, a total of way more than twenty different sake.

Deutsch:
Super Tour, das Geld absolut Wert. Sehr sympathischer Tourguide, viel Hintergrundwissen und mehr Sake als man trinken kann ;)

We had a wonderful guide who was very informative and passionate. It started to pour rain and she very quickly changed things around to accommodate an inside venue rather than outdoor one. We also had our 3 year old with us and she was lovely with her! I found it so helpful to have a guide and just follow, rather than try to find my way around! My husband lived all the sake and we rolled him home. At one place he got to try 18 sake!!

We did this tour yesterday and it was excellent. Our tour guide Yurina was very friendly and knowledgeable. We leant a great deal about sake varieties and production and found the three brewers we visited to be very different and interesting. Plenty of sake was tasted and our guide helped ensure we hopped on the correct train to return home safe and sound. Highly recommended.
