This private tour from the port of La Spezia to Cinque Terre is a lovely daytrip that will allow you to explore the spectacular coast and towns with a private guide. The guide will meet you at the port (or train station if you are in a hotel) and you will discover the lovely towns of Cinque Terre going by boat (subject to weather conditions) and train.The price also includes boat rides and train tickets. This is a private experience, you will not be part of a group

If you are coming on a cruise: your friendly local guide will meet you at the cruise terminal in La Spezia. Together with your guide, you will go from the cruise terminal to the train station (walking or by taxi - price of taxi not included) --- If you are staying in a hotel in La Spezia (or arriving from another city): you will meet your private guide directly at the train station La Spezia Centrale --- Together with your guide, you will take a short train ride of about 10 minutes and you will reach Riomaggiore, the first town (the train ticket is included).

Together with your guide, you will take a short train ride of about 10 minutes and you will reach Riomaggiore, the first town (the train ticket is included).

Together with your private guide you will explore the lovely town of Riomaggiore. She will make you explore the various coastal towns of Cinque Terre, taking you to the spots with the best views, making sure you will not miss out on anything that is worthwhile. Transfers between the various towns will be done by ferry-boat (included in the price - subject to weather conditions) and by train (included in the price)

You will then reach Manarola where your guide will show you around this charming little town

Together with your private guide you will reach and explore the lovely town of Vernazza. Here you may stop for lunch in one of the nice restaurants near the little port of the village (the price of lunch is not included but your guide will be happy to give you suggestions)
6.
Together with your private guide you will explore the lovely town of Monterosso. Please note that depending on the schedule of your cruise and how much time you wish to spend visiting each one, it is not always possible to visit all the towns.
7.
At the end of your private tour of the Cinque Terre towns, your guide will take you back by train to La Spezia and from there you will reach the port on time to board your cruise (from station to port you may walk or take a taxi - price of taxi is not included).

Our guide Matteo was very informative and we enjoyed his stories and his conversation. The tour of Cinque Terre was terrific and we definitely recommend this tour for ease of moving from town to town as well as the insight given by the tour.

We had a wonderful day with our guide Marta in Cinque Terre. She took such good care of our group of 5, which included our 7 year old granddaughter. We visited 3 towns leisurely, which was perfect. Marta provided lots of interesting information about each town, led us on walks that were perfectly suited for the varied abilities of our group. Our granddaughter and her dad got to experience the Mediterranean Sea. It was a memorable day. Then Marta even made dinner reservations for us at a wonderful restaurant in La Spezia and gave helpful recommendations for our next day in Lucca. We would book another tour with Marta in a heartbeat.

First off, this tour involves lot of walking as that is the only way to experience the charm of these towns. We rode a short 5-min bus shuttle from the ship to the port building where we met up with our local tour guide, Andrea. He was very fluent in English along with great knowledge of local area, culture and history. He had pleasant personality and kept engaging us in interesting conversations all along. Due to the amount of time we had (as well as us being large group of 12 persons with waiting times at each stop), we could only cover two villages in the planned itinerary. Andrea took us thru the main streets of La Spezia for around 20 min walk and then we all boarded into a train that took us to the two charming and amazing towns of Cinque Terre. Andrea was excellent in taking us to the best viewing spots in each of these two villages where we had a chance to experience spectacular views of the coast. This tour fully lived up to our expectations.

Our guide Sonya was wonderful providing us with a detailed and personalised tour missing most of the congested tour parties. Sonya provided us with all the best hidden gems and photographic opportunites that those larger groups missed. And on top of that we had the best table for lunch overlooking the picturesque bay in Monteresso. We had the most enjoyable time and would highly recommend this personalised tour and guide.

Our guide Sonya was wonderful. We bypassed all the large crowds and saw the hidden gems, grabbed the best photo opportunities and had us eating lunch with the best seat in the house. We received everything and more from our very personable and knowledgeable guide

Our guide was really wonderful and had not slots of knowledge to share with us. He took us up lots of stairs and then back down lots of stairs and the views were just incredible. A little bit more time on a boat would have been nice. The train ride was great, but you don’t really see much of the country when you’re on the train so coming from the Desert where I am coming from, a little more time on the water

We booked this tour in order to experience Cinque Terre from the water and enjoyed all aspects of the tour. Our guide showed us special places to see as well as to taste the local cuisine in each of the 3 towns that we visited. Despite the crowds, she made reservations at a restaurant in Monterosso for us and as an added bonus, showed us part of the beautiful city of La Spieza as we walked from the cruise port to the train station.

We had an amazing day!! Francesco was so amazing ! He was very kind and funny and kept the energy up all day. Cinque terre is absolutely beautiful and we were very glad to have a guide to assist us all day. Keep in mind there is a lot of uphill walking. Overall we highly recommend this tour !

Matteo was an excellent guide. He gave us a really good outline of his plan for the tour and was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and responsive to all and any questions we had. Our tour of the Cinque Terre region was wonderful - a mixture of train and ferry journeys and walking.
