Our day starts with a visit to an outstanding wildlife park so you can get up close, interact and learn about Australia’s amazing animals, birds and reptiles. Kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, emus, wombats, deadly snakes and cassowaries (also deadly!)

Further west into the mountains for your first short walk to see the amazing views of the Blue Mountains world heritage wilderness. Get that perfect Instagram photo, before heading to the small town of Katoomba, where you have free time to explore the diverse range of eating options to grab a delicious lunch (own expense)

After lunch we’ll take you on a long bushwalk away from the crowds on national park tracks that stimulate the senses. Get up close to waterfalls, breath in the fresh air, smell the Eucalyptus trees, see the parrots and even a lyrebird, the symbol of the NSW national parks.

Your day is complete with our final stop at the iconic Three Sisters and learn more about Australia’s Aboriginal culture.

I broke my leg last year and was unsure I’d be able to keep up with a Blue Mountains group hike. It was tough to find a tour at the last minute that would take us to Featherdale (not the Sydney Zoo) and to see the Three Sisters, but also be attainable given my current fitness level.

This Carbon Neutral tour also has an option on Colourful Collective’s website called All-Inclusive, where Ronnie (an amazing guide, as testified to in all the reviews) dropped us off at Scenic World while the “moderately fit” hiked their butts off. Scenic World is a choose your own adventure of seeing the rainforest from above and below. We still got in our 10,000 steps on the wooden pathway along the rainforest floor.

It was a magical day.

What a spectacular day trip! Our guide, Peter was a wealth of information and such a delightful, humorous tour guide! Spending time at Featherdale sanctuary was such a treat to walk amongst and be able to feed the kangaroos and wallabies. The view from Lincoln Rock is awesome…but I certainly didn’t sit near the edge! On to Katoomba for lunch and Echo Point where the vistas and view of the Three Sisters are breathtaking. After the Three Sisters we went to Katoomba Falls and ventured down to view Witches Leap. We had perfect weather for our day!

A brilliant day in the blue mountains! We were picked up by our tour guide Ronnie and started off our trip at Featherdale wildlife where we got to feed kangaroos, see some sleepy koala bears and lots of other Australian animals. We then went to Lincoln’s rock, the three sisters and a rainforest walk to see Leura cascades. Ronnie was the best tour guide - he kept us in high spirits throughout the tour, and he was very knowledgeable about the blue mountains history as well as the local wildlife. Would highly recommend this tour!

Amazing, full of surprises and enjoyable day with Ronnie. Our guide of the day was very talkative, informative and caring for the group. We were so lucky for sightseeing a wallaby in its wild habitat.

Despite the rain, Ronnie lead a great tour! We didn’t have to get off the bus at stops that we didn’t want to, and he was very understanding. For those okay with getting out in the rain, Ronnie was there with us awaiting adventure!

Really enjoyed this trip and would thoroughly recommend, we went to the wildlife park and some stunning view points and waterfalls! Our tour guide Guil was so helpful and accommodating and really made the trip! We were lucky our day was sunny so we could see very clearly but it really is weather dependent

We had a nice trip. We were soon picked up at the agreed time and started the tour. We started at the wildlife park. Nice to see all the animals again and have them so close to you. It was nice and quiet for us because we were early. Then we headed towards Lincolns Rock and Three Sisters. It was foggy and Ronnie (our tour guide) wanted to see if the fog wasn't too bad there. He wanted to prevent the fog from sticking around and us not seeing the Three Sisters. But we were lucky! Then to Scenic World to use all the facilities there. We finished with a visit to Cahill's lookout. All in all a quiet day with many beautiful sights. Compliments to Ronnie for his cheerful energy and good stories. He certainly contributed to the positive experience of this trip.
