Embark on this half-day Rio de Janeiro City Tour!
We visit to Corcovado Mountain and the Christ the Redeemer statue going through the Paineiras route. The 20-minute drive to the base of the statue takes you through the Tijuca Forest and gives you a preview of the landscapes ahead. The statue stands 710 meters tall and from this vantage point, you have sweeping views of the city.
We also visit the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Arcos da Lapa with the traditional Selarón Steps. Then, we take pictures outside of the Sambadrome and the Maracanã Stadium.
Tour guide, tickets to the Christ the Redeemer and round-trip transfer are included.

My family and I had a great time! Monica was very knowledgeable and spoke 3 languages. She was very nice holding our gift bags and taking pictures of us. I would definitely recommend her tour!

Monica was excellent! She was very nice and knowledgeable. Very good managing our time and explaining all the areas we were passing through. She also was very kind, offering to take our pictures, giving us tips about the areas we were at and even holding our souvenir bags so we could enjoy our time.
My family and I enjoyed this excursion very much! I definitely recommend it!

We took the half-day tour except which visited all important Sight-seeings. We can only recommend the Tour and would clearly do it again.

The tour is essentially paid transportation to Christ the Redeemer and the Selaron steps. We drove around Maracana stadium, which is an old, dirty concrete stadium. We didn't stop for photos. We stopped for 10 minutes at the Cathedral and the guide said we had 10 minutes to use the bathroom. I think everyone thought the 10 minutes was for the bathroom and we would later go into the Cathedral, because no one visited the Cathedral and guide never said anything. We left in van after the 10 minutes. The Sambodrome is basically a street with permanent viewing stands on both sides. Without Carnival activities, it is not really worth seeing. Finally, the English proficiency and clarity of guide was mediocre at best.

Had a great time my most memorable moment was at the Jesus Christ, the redeemer statue, The views from up there of the city Wasn’t anything less than astonishing.

Our guide contacted me the night before to confirm the meeting place & time. Monica showed up on time, was informative and kept everyone on schedule. She speakers multiple languages which was helpful to the international mix of tourist she had.
