The driver / guide from the hotel was excellent company and spoke good English. Also the guide at Burle Marx's sitio was very informative and an excellent English speaker. All organised very well and excellent value for money.

My trip with Cariocas was cancelled by them less than 24 hours before scheduled visit. They said next available date was in four days time. I requested to reschedule if possible.
Less than 14 hours before visit still awaited response from Cariocas . When asked they were unable to advise about either the visit or repayment.
It would appear that booking money is taken one, two or more weeks prior to tour but Cariocas do not buy any requisite tickets until a day before scheduled visit. No financial outlet by them , whilst money paid earns interest.
When you ask about reimbursement the response - let me have your booking reference.
At best this is utter incompetence, or worse a scam.
Unreliable service.

Great guide, interesting background information as travelled to the Sitio, great location, local guide also excellent and very interesting visit of plantings and artworks combined. A highlight of Rio, will visit again next time we are here

A big surprise. The Roberto Burle Marx park is a jewel about 45 minutes drive from Rio. It is a contemplative place of great charm. An immersion in tropical nature full of plants, shrubs and brushstrokes of bright colours. Accompanied by the guide, Monica, very good, very competent and pleasant. Compliments. We were all thrilled with it. We have discovered a place that will accompany us emotionally for a long time. Definitely recommended.

We found this garden and presentation of Roberto Burle Marx fantastic and beyond our expectations. Even on a rainy day its was exquisite to walk the gardens and hear off his wife crammed with so much achievement.
The guide we had Matthew was really knowledgeable and interesting.

If you love design or are looking a one of a kind Rio experience this is the tour for you! The house, studio and grounds were hands down spectacular- a highlight of our 11-day trip. Monica, our guide, couldn’t have been more gracious or knowledgeable. You could tell she loved this special place, and her enthusiasm was infectious and made for great story telling. We quickly became immersed in Burle Marx’s philosophy and grew to understand how his approach to landscape design was revolutionary. From what I see, not that many people book this tour and I can’t understand why. It’s just a short drive outside the city and the walk through the property is serene, stunning, and helps give context to the overall evolution of Rio as a city. Don’t hesitate to book with Monica today!

First, the gardens were beautiful! We learned so much about native and non native plants. The staff was friendly and they knew their stuff! This was the one tour where I took the most photos! It was stunning!
The bonus was that we received door to door service. Our driver was so kind and was fun to ride with.

Had a wonderful tour with Leandro. He picked me up on time. Drove carefully to the mist beautiful garden in Rio: Sitio Burle Marx.
The garden tour was great! We had great lunch after in a local restaurant that Leandro knew. And he kindly drove back touring the coastline. Leandro too the extra time to make this experience unforgettable beautiful.
If you are looking for this tour, ask for Leandro!!!! He is amazing
