The tour itself was interesting and well run. I would’ve liked some information beforehand regarding the tight spaces we walked through. It’s definitely not for the claustrophobic or larger people. Overall, it was worth the price and a nice break from the heat.

Un esperienza indimenticabile! Ho avuto il piacere di visitare Napoli sotterranea con una guida d'eccezione (Edoardo) che ha reso questo tour un esperienza speciale. La sua passione e competenza erano evidenti fin dall'inizio e ha saputo catturare l'attenzione di tutto il gruppo con racconti vividi e aneddoti Interessanti!

Sono andata con mia figlia a fare questa visita pensando di fare una cosa interessante ma anche divertente per coinvolgere mia figlia adolescente e devo dire che il risultato è stato ben oltre le mie aspettative: la nostra guida Giulia si è dimostrata una abile intrattenitrice, preparata ma divertente, mai scontata o noiosa, ci ha fatto vivere con passione ed simpatia un esperienza che consiglio a tutti! Brava Giulia!

Percorso e ambiente estremamente interessante e suggestivo. Il tutto curato e gestito da volontari che portano avanti un gran lavoro. La nostra guida, Sara, brava ed efficace nella spiegazione e narrazione. Carino, una volta tanto, anche il negozio di souvenir, buon modo anche per sostenere l'associazione.

Sehr interessante Führung durch den Untergrund von Neapel. Augustino war ein toller Guide, dem man die Begeisterung für das Thema angemerkt hat. Da manche der Tunnel sehr eng sind, ist die Tour nicht für Menschen mit Klaustrophobie zu empfehlen.

A really cool visit to the underground tunnels, aqueducts and cisterns of old Naples. Our guide was informative, knowledgeable, and funny. We highly recommend this activity.

A very interesting short tour of one of the many underground water storage and laterly used as ww2 bomb shelters in Naples, still with some of the items from this period. Our guide was very entertaining and we would recommend a visit.

Truly beautiful experience, the guide Tommy was able to involve the whole group with kindness, funny anecdotes and a lot of history about Naples, absolutely worth trying!

This is a review of the English-language "Napoli Sotteranea" tour that starts next to the Church of San Paolo Maggiore, at the Piazza Gaetano. First, it was a great tour. The guide, a knowledgeable fellow with good English and a golden voice, told us a lot about the Greek origins of the place, the method of breaking up the tuffa into blocks for building, the superiority of tuffa not only as a building material, but also as a purifier of air (amazingly, we were 30 or so meters underground with limited ventilation and the air never felt close). The tour took about 1 hour and twenty minutes, almost all of it underground. If you are claustrophobic beware: there are some tight, dark spaces. I am very glad we took this tour.

I dock the experience a star for one reason: the woman who was leading the Italian language tour that left at the same time as ours (though by a different route) had a voice that would cut glass. No matter where we were on the tour, her voice came reverberating at us with the intensity of of a dentist's drill. At times, it drowned out the perfectly adequate voice of our guide. And yet, when we were passing her group, she had the temerity to shout "Silenzio!" at us. She was rude and clearly had a grudge against the English-language group. We were ahead of her on the tour and she could not be bothered to wait a few seconds as some of our group were taking a picture. She actually shouted at them to keep moving! As we were queueing up for the tour I asked her for directions as to which line to join: she put us in the wrong line. I soon suspected that she was mistaken and asked one of her colleagues, who redirected us. Had I not asked, we would not have made the tour.

Anyway, rant over. Our guide was wonderful and the tour is great. We learned a lot. I recommend it.
