Excellent service from Richard, we went on a rainy day with fog, but he knew the place and the perfect time to wait for the beautiful souvenir photos. I very much appreciate your patience and kindness 🤗.

My tour to Macchu Picchu was amazing! Richard really went out of his way to include me, the only English speaking in the group. We had beautiful weather as well. It was an amazing experience. Richard took great photos of me and our group. Would 10/10 recommend.

It was a great and well arranged trip, I was solo traveling but I felt safe. Richard Álvarez Estrada was a very good guide and he is a great photographer who took a lot of good pictures for us. Recommend!

I did Machu Picchu on Feb 1st - not too shortly after the strike ended and the first day the trains were running. It was a very early start. I had a 2:00am pick-up. It was raining on and off throughout the day, but when we walked the Inca Trails and hit the summit, it was sunny with blue skies!! Richard was my tour guide and he was AMAZING!! He is so knowledgeable of the Inca culture and history. He is passionate to share his knowledge, history, and to share the cultural landscape of Peru. He is also wickedly funny!! He got our whole group laughing 🤣🤣 He is an excellent photographer and took the time to take many photos of everyone once we reached the summit!

Too much for one day. About 5 hours each way to/from Cusco. Maybe stay in Aguas Caliente or Ollayantytambo.

Not enough time to have lunch in Aguas Caliente (we made it to the appetizers then had to leave before lunch even arrived).

Great tour guide in Machu Picchu.

To a large extent the tour is nothing more than arranged group transportation (not people on same tour), then a private guide at Machu Picchu. It was valuable and nice not having to figure all the variety of transportation out independently.

Chullos Travel Peru did a great job organizing a week of excursions for our family. All of our outings began from Cusco, where we stayed at a very nice hotel.
The highlight of our week was a private guided tour of Machu Picchu. Our guide, Ricardo Alverez, did a fantastic job of making sure that the early morning clouds did not ruin our visit. He delayed our entrance long enough for the clouds to burn off so that we had unobstructed views. He also knew where to take great photos. Thanks, Ricardo!!
The lunch was also excellent!

The guide Richard Álvarez made all the difference so that we had an extraordinary experience. He chose the best time (he waited to clear the weather) and took the long route, where he gave us explanations that demonstrated all his knowledge of the history, culture and place
