Once I downloaded WhatsApp, my experience with Chullos Travel and Katia, my point person there, was seamless. From the pick-up at the Cusco airport to the daily communications between Katia and myself on the next day's itinerary or how we were feeling and adjusting to the altitude.
Cusco and the surrounding area are absolutely beautiful. The roads are not great and the travelling to these special places can seem very long at times, and van space is sometimes very tight. But the outcome is always fabulous, an amazing view, hike, or history lesson.
Finally, Chullo Travels did a great job on scheduling our week. We got to tour Sacred Valley and then hop on a train at Ollantaytambo to the Machu Piccu area. That saved time on the road and allowed us to see more sites without as much traveling. I talked with several people who did their own scheduling, and we were so lucky to have Chullo Travels and Katia create a schedule that made sense in terms of travel, sites and altitude adjusting.

This was a great way to see many fantastic sites. Our tour guides were excellent. The ease of getting our tickets and detailed itinerary the day before the scheduled event was definitely a plus. I would highly recommend this travel group as they were extremely professional and knowledgeable. We did have a couple small bumps in the road/ plan that were not ideal but overall this was a great experience. This itinerary may not be for everyone but there are many accommodations along the way. Rainbow Mountain and Humantay Lake were by far the hardest days but so worth it!! Just go with a great “I can do it” attitude.

Well run and lead package complete from the start to end. Friendly and professional help from both Eybis and Katia after initial booking with providing all necessary details and updates as well as patiently answering our constant enquiries and requests. Accommodation choices were clean and comfortable and conveniently centrally located with great breakfasts plus the well organised transports. Daily tour guides were also friendly, patient and professional, particularly Jose and Richard who made trips to rainbow mountain and machu piccu unforgettably enjoyable experiences.

We went on our honeymoon to Peru. Our main objective, to know Machupichu. And we couldn't be more delighted with the place, but especially with our guide for the excursion. Richart transmitted to us his passion for the Inka culture and taught us everything we needed to know more about them. It was a perfect excursion.

Ahhhh … Machu Puccu! That was a favorite! And the Sacred Valley was incredible. Our tour guide Percy was so knowledgeable about all the Inca sights. He was awesome too —answering all our questions, patiently waiting at places we wanted to linger longer at and accommodating all our photo taking. He ended up being the best part of the trip!! He made our spectacular adventure happen. Even assisting us on our way back home as we needed to embark early due to political unrest.
