The ancient Book of Kells! Dramatic tales of Occupation and Uprisings unfolded as we walked the streets of Dublin. Even great advice on where to find a fine meal and a pint. Thanks Dermot 😊

It was interesting although too fast paced, I expected more about the Book of Kells and we hardly were given time to see it.

This tour did not meet our expectations. The entire Book of Kells experience was self-guided with our tour guide available to answer questions. The walking tour portion was fine, but the city was noisy making it hard to hear or be engaged. Our guide (Dermot), however, was knowledgeable, charming, and considerate. Had we known the type of experience, we would have self-booked the Book of Kells and ditched the rest. Not a bad option if you need the extra help getting around Dublin.

Dermot , our tour guide, was very good at remembering names and where people were from that were on the tour. He sang a couple of songs that made it really special, and even had the group join in with him. The weather was not great - rainy and cold, but he held our attention.

Our guide Dermot was friendly to all and very knowledgeable about the college, book of Kells, and Dublin castle. But he also pointed out many interesting and fun facts and finds in the city. We enjoyed every minute of the tour.
