We very much enjoyed our tour of both facilities. The Jameson Distillery tour was a very nice facility. The tour was sophisticated, cool, informative and enjoyable. It was done very well. We received a choice of cocktails or straight whiskey that were already poured. We also went to another room were we were able to sample shots of different whiskeys. I'm not a huge drinker so they were rough for me, but it was fun. We had a super friendly and amazing tour guide that kept things interesting. After Jameson our tour guide gave us a walking tour of many historical and interesting facts till we got to Guinness, where we had the storehouse tour. They have a very large place with which we learned a lot. They have gone to a lot of work to make a great tour. They have restaurants on the 4th floor and a bar on the top level that they call the Gravity Bar which you can see all around Dublin. We had a sample beer along the way and got a ticket to go to the top floor to get a pint. it was super crowded, but we were able to get a table. You can book these tours on your own, but I highly recommend doing this guided tour as you get the tours done efficiently and easily plus you get some great information from the guide. It all adds to your knowledge of the city and history of these companies.

We had an incredible afternoon at our Jameson & Guinness tour with Martin C as our guide, was a very worthwhile tour and would recommend it to anyone. The whole experience was seamless and Martin really went the extra mile to make sure the tour was enjoyed, interesting and memorable. We were lucky enough to have a small group and was great hearing everyone else’s Ireland experiences along the way. We didn’t have to wait in any lines and although we walked from Jameson to Guinness, Martin gave us extra “nuggets” of information along the way which made the walk go quickly and had the benefit of learning other interesting facts about Ireland. Martin, thanks for a great afternoon - will forever be a highlight of our 2.5 week stay in Ireland! 11/10 ⭐️

A fantastic walking tour of some of the most famous exports from Ireland (Jameson & Guinness). Our tour guide, Martin C, did an excellent job of keeping us on schedule while also leaving time to stop and provide more information behind some of the sites along the way. The tour at Jameson was run by someone else employed directly from Jameson, but Martin C guided us through Guinness and added much more to the experience than what we would have had going through on our own.

Be sure to dress in comfortable clothing and shoes as there is a fair bit of walking (and stairs at Guinness), but there are enough stops along the way that it doesn't feel like an exercise.

Highly recommended for anyone old enough to enjoy these exports or anyone interested in the history behind these two global brands.

Martin was a fabulous guide. Did a great job “herding” our rather large group. Jameson tour was fabulous. Enjoyed the stop at Brazen Head. Guiness was great as well, but very crowded which made it difficult to see everything or even hear Martin all of the time. Not sure if a vox would have been helpful or if it would have been helpful to just give us our tickets and let us wander. Martin did give us that open before the tour started. We just didn’t know it would be that crowded beforehand. Great experience and would highly recommend.

Amazing tour - a wonderful way to see and learn a LOT in a short amount of time. We never felt rushed and even had time to stop in and see some beautiful stained glass in a cathedral. Wear walking shoes !

nice walking tour around dublin. Jameson was a good experience, Guiness less so. Guiness is almost like a disney theme park, i didn't really learn anything and the crowds were annoying. guide just gets you in the places, he didn't accompany us on the tours

My husband and I did not realize what we signed up for with this tour. We met outside the Jameson Distillery and were given a tour by a Jameson staff member. We really enjoyed learning how Jameson was produced. That tour was well-done, but very fast-paced. Then the tour guide walked us to The Brazen Head. On the Viator description, it says a photo opportunity would occur at this location. The tour guide decided to have us get a "quick pint" here and use the facilities for 20 minutes before we moved onto Guinness, but we were here for at least 40 minutes. We had finished our pint quickly (since we thought we only had 20 minutes) and were waiting on the tour guide to move us along. Then we continued our walk to the Guinness Storehouse. There was no line to get in here, nor was there a line at Jameson. The tour guide said we could break from the group and do our own thing at Guinness, or we could stick with him and he would give us a quick tour of each of the many floors of the storehouse, ending with our free pint at the 360 degree bar at the top. The storehouse is very big (7 floors) so we decided to stick with him. The 360 degree bar was very crowded, so we broke from the group at that point to enjoy our beers. There was nowhere to sit since it was so crowded, so we drank quickly and didn't linger. Then we went down a couple floors to get our picture on a pint ("STOUTie") as well as get a certificate for properly pouring a Guinness. These were both "bucket list" items for us and the main reason we signed up for the tour. We were VERY disappointed to find out that we needed to buy tickets to do both of these activities. And even MORE disappointed when we were informed that it was exactly 5:00pm and that is when they stopped selling tickets. We flew back home the next day, so we had to leave Ireland without completing these items. What is even more upsetting is that the tour guide encouraged us to do theses activities when we were touring that floor of the storehouse with him. He could have informed us about the cut-off time and we could have broken from the group at that point on that floor and completed both of those activities. I think this Jameson/Guinness tour needs to occur earlier in the day so that people can get the full Guinness Storehouse experience that they paid for, or the tour guide should not have had us spend so much time at The Brazen Head. We feel that we would have been much better off to have just bought tickets to the Jameson tour and Guinness Storehouse separately and competed them on our own. We would have saved a good chunk of money as well. We did not feel that we benefitted at all from the tour experience. If anything, the guide cost us major parts of our experience. It was not worth the additional cost for sure. We just want to make sure that people know what they are signing up for with this Jameson/Guinness tour.
