This tour covers up to 5 km and keeps going for approximately 2 hours, so we take you to places you would never reach on foot. Throughout our trip, I will show you some of the most beautiful historical monuments and locations in Prague, including kayaking under the Charles Bridge, riding alongside the seat of the Government of the Czech Republic and getting an amazing view of Prague Castle.

This was my second visit to Prague so I decided to take in the city from a different vantage point this time — and it did not disappoint!
Vaclav, my kayaking tour guide, was simply outstanding. He was clear and prompt in our communications in the days leading up to the tour, punctual and ready with our kayaks and gear at the meeting spot, and knowledgable and friendly on the tour itself. Not only did Vaclav provide information about the sights but he prioritized safety at all times, ensuring I didn’t stray into the center of the river too much. We also chatted a bit about the history and economy of Czechia as well as his visit to my part of the world, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
The trip itself was about 5 km in total, first downstream to the locks near Štavnice island, then back upstream to Charles bridge. We went under the 666-year old Charles bridge as well as remnants of an even older bridge. Then we crossed to the other bank and went up a canal known as Little Venice. This part of the trip was a bit more challenging, which I relished. At the end of the canal we saw the last (non-functional) water mill in Prague, before returning back to our starting spot. He was kind enough to take several photos of me on the water and sent them to me promptly after the tour finished.
Being the off-season and 40 F / 5 C weather, I was the only customer, which was nice. I’m positive, though, that the experience would’ve been just as enjoyable with a few more people. Vaclav mentioned that they typically don’t take more than 4-6 people per guide, depending on the customers’ prior experience with kayaking. I highly recommend this tour, whether you’re a first-time or repeat visitor to Prague!

We had a wonderful experience on the kayak trip through Prague. The guide was very knowledgeable about kayaking and the city history. Some of the best photos from our Prague trip were taken by our guide as we kayaked under the Charles Bridge. We stayed dry and the kayaks felt safe. This is a great way to see the city from a different perspective.

What an amazing tour! The views are spectacular. One of us had never Kayaked before. The guide was perfect! Taught us the basics for a bit then took us to so many beautiful places. You don't need to be an athlete to enjoy yourself! I would suggest this option for seeing the city to everyone!! The pictures are amazing.

Wholeheartedly recommend this kayak tour on the Vltava! The paddling is easy and the views of Prague's iconic landmarks are sublime. What a great way to escape the crowds and connect with the soul of the city on a whole different level. Especially enjoyed drifting through the narrow canals and residential areas of Little Venice. The personalized help from Frank with my last minute booking along with charming and knowledgeable tour guide Vaclav made for an unforgettable afternoon. Hope to book again if ever back in town!

Could not be more thrilled with our trip and our guide, Frank. Everything was well organized and comfortable. Frank was helpful and engaged. We learned about the Vlatava and Prague from this unique perspective. We explored hidden places that we would not have seen otherwise. All while enjoying the fresh air and the beautiful views of Prague!

Kayaking the Vltava with Vaclav was our favorite experience in Prague. My 23 year old daughter and I were able to enjoy the city in a way most tourists don't experience. We learned a lot about Prague landmarks and Czech life, while enjoying a gorgeous (and very warm) day on the river. Vaclav was kind and patient and truly made our experience memorable. Highly recommend and would happily take this tour again on a return visit to Prague!
