Bike Tour of Florence with Piazzale Michelangelo

Our small group tour was in two sections. The first was with a very knowledgable young gentleman who took us to all the important sites and knew every single piece of history. He was also very pleasant and a good cyclist. You have to be careful biking with the traffic.
The Second optional part of our tour was to cycle up to Piazza Michaelangelo with the owner Julia, who was lovely! Hard work but worth it! You can walk your bike up if you need. Would highly recommend this tour, especially when you first arrived to get to know the various neighbourhoods and important sites to visit on your trip

We loved our bike tour through Florence and our tour guide, Giulia did a fabulous job! Our family of six with four teenagers all enjoyed the tour and appreciated it being fast paced with high energy. We rode to many of Florence’s historical spots where we stopped so Giulia could share the background and history of each. She was fun, friendly, and patient as the three families on the tour biked along our path. I highly recommend this tour as a fun, interactive way to get to know Florence - especially with older kids.

Lorenzo led us on a great tour of the city. Bikes were a great way to see the sights and learn about the history of Florence. My husband, adult son, and I recorded the route on strava so we could return to the locations later.

Fun bike ride to get acquainted with all the highlight spots in Florence. Very knowledgeable guide and gave us great recommendations for the best Gilato, Steak Florentine, and wine tastings!

Great way to start our stay in Florence! Lorenzo was our guide and he was so knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was the perfect amount of time and gave us a few ideas of places we wanted to revisit on our own. We went in the morning and it was perfect temperature and the streets weren't too busy. Would 100% recommend!

Highly recommend. First thing we did upon arrival in Florence. Great overview of the city in just two hours. Lorenzo was terrific. Gave us great insight into the history of all of the Piazzas and local history of Florence. . Also great recommendations for local activities and restaurants. Best way to start your visit in Florence!

The bike tour was an excellent introduction to Florence and its history, covering significant sites on both sides of the river. Highly recommended! Our tour guide (Lorenzo) was excellent – knowledgeable, fun and careful to keep everyone together as our route navigated through some busy streets. Taking in the breathtaking vista at Piazzale Michelangelo was a fantastic conclusion to the tour!

Really nice guide. Informative, friendly and patient. We saw some great sights and went to places I wouldn’t have thought of. The cycling itself wasn’t taxing and the trip itself was one of the best experiences I had in Florence. Many thanks Lorenzo - you were great 😀
