Pick-up from nearest meeting point by your driver and guide.
Drive along the Sorrento Coast and enjoy views of the bay of Naples on the way to Pompeii.
Enjoy a 2 hours guided visit in the excavations with an expert and authorized local guide: discover the life of the Ancient Romans see the main public monuments, the Forum and some of the houses of the Pompeii ruins.
At the end of the visit a little bit of free time will be given before reach Sorrento by bus at approx. 01:30 pm.

Pompeii is amazing but your did not allow enough time to explore. Bus ride was terrible. Would recommend taking the train instead.

The trip went smoothly. They picked us up at our hotel which was definitely a plus. Our guide Tony was very informative and walked at a good pace so we could get the most out of our tour. Iliana who helped me set up our tour for 10 senior ladies was very helpful. I would highly recommend Golden Tours.

Dana was excellent.she was so knowledgeable and friendly which added to our experience. As we’d heard a lot about Pompeii but she really added to gaps in our knowledge. Really putting information into context in certain locations around the site. Thank you

Laura the guide was excellent and very entertaining . Well organised and knowledgeable . Pompeii is awesome, very big site with lots to see very hot so take plenty of fluid and a hat!

We were recommended to use this company for a trip to Pompeii by our hotel.
The cost was €69 per person and for that you get collected from the hotel at about 0745 in an air conditioned bus, collect a few others and move on to Pompeii.
Our tour guide was Tonya - she was very knowledgeable and knew what she was talking about.
You get an audio device and ear piece so you can hear what she is saying.
The tour itself is only about 2 hours, to be honest the site is massive and Tonya takes you to the highlights - it is just right.
You can buy bottled water on the bus, there are also coffee spots and toilets at the excavation site.
The bus drops you back your hotel by 1400 - perfect because its starting to get busy with the other tourists..
Recommended.

Picked up/dropped off from our hotel in an air conditioned coach. Bus journey very smooth and we were kept entertained by our guide Cynthia, who was both amusing and informative. At Pompei, there was a quick comfort break then split into 2 groups and quickly in to the site itself. We went with Luigi, who was also an excellent guide. You get a radio and ear piece so no matter how far you are from the guide you hear everything clearly. It was incredibly hot so I recommend lots of sunscreen, a hat and plenty of water. Also comfortable walking shoes. In half a day you can't see everything, but you get the highlights. We would make a return visit on a cooler day and stay longer. Overall a very interesting and enjoyable visit.

Very nice knowledgeable guides. Crazy rude driver yelling at people and other drivers. Pompei is an amazing site to visit.

Only 2 hours actually at Pompeii and it was so crowded and busy with rude people. The tour guide should have set meeting points so that he didn’t have to spend time rounding everyone up.
Tour was not worth the price.
