Over 3 years in the making, the River Carnival show boasts a cast of over 150 actors and 150 crew members. Enormous costumes reaching 8 meters tall compliment the record-breaking sizes of some of the largest procession barges and gigantic flying creatures ever assembled. Aerial ballet, exotic carnival dancers, animatronics, and dazzling special effects all take place on 1 of the largest stages ever constructed. With a performance space extending to over 70 meters wide, the River Carnival Show is built to dazzle and amaze with the most spectacular display of regal pageantry and carnival revelry.
Following the evening's performance, the Prince opens up his Palace grounds to allow his guests to wander through a secret garden forest and discover the many enchantments and special treasures to be found within. Delicately laced with over 40 million lights, each reflecting the dazzling glory of a land filled with abundance and beauty.

I like this place. They bring us back to children time when we can enjoy all games, shows, parades, foods, snack,drinks, dessert etc.,
This place is good for all family members. Senior people look back to their old time, teenager enjoy with the games and show, kids enjoy with easy games and snack, and everyone can enjoy their amazing show.
I like their fantasy toilet and also spent moneys for souvenir like keychain, t-shirt-bag etc., and I supposed to enjoy playing game but as it was my first time, so I did not know what game they have, and which one is interesting for me. I found 2-3 games look interesting, but I did not play as I have to walk back long way to the counter to buy a game card and come back to play the game. So, I think this should be more convenience if we can pay on spot where we want.
However, lucky me that the counter quite far otherwise I should spend more money with their amazing games.
One thing cannot be skipped to talk about is their restaurant, amazing decoration and delicious food.
But the most impressed me is their staff really friendly from the first person who we met at parking until the last staff we saw after the show. Everyone has smiley face, I will recommend my friends, family to experience this place for sure!

We booked the whole package that consist of pickup/buffet/tickets and NEVER REGRET it at all! The place is so beautiful and vibrant. All staffs were very participative and can truly tell they love their job and always so smiley. We felt very welcome and really enjoyed ourselves.
Buffet had a huge variety but the quality of food can be improved. The space is huge and we are really impressed by this event and thank god we book this event! Highly recommend people to go, whether old or young.
We missed the parade as we were still having our food, maybe the staffs could have went around to inform guests that there's a parade outside and can return for food after that parade ends. The toilet is a must visit!!!

The show was great, very decorative, specially for kids!!! The toilets are the places attraction. There are a lot of souvenirs to be bought.

We didn’t realise this was a children’s event and we paid a lot of money thinking it was a carnival type of event.
However upon arriving we quickly realised that this was not what we hoped for and asked for a refund and we were refused so we then asked if we could give the tickets to someone else who had children and we were told no there’s nothing we can do which is absolutely ridiculous.
The events seems very nice but unless you have children don’t bother and if you do be prepared to spend a fortune and the food buffet is not very good.

The food court has a fantastic selection.
Children will enjoy this more than anyone, but even old, grumpy people will smile.

I would consider Carnival Magic as the Top 3 places to visit in Thailand. The places opens at 5.30pm but would be wise to reach there only by 7pm.
A mini parade conducted was sublime. So many colours, lights and energy followed by a parade inside a huge auditorium.
The parade was simply brilliant. The scale at which it is conducted and the carnival floats that come are masterpieces. Beautifully decorated with an array of rainbow lights is a visual treat not to be missed. It's a 30 min show in a auditorium which has good Aircon and comfy seats. Must must visit.
The parade alone is worth the ticket price but when you throw in the KINGDOM of LIGHTS that opens post the parade....it's an absolute steal.
We didn't opt for the buffet dinner option coz we went to Cafe Del Mar, which is another superb party place bang opposite the Carnival Magic.

Our experience as a couple wasn’t the best! The lighting and the effort gone into making the place look attractive is appreciated however the pricing of the tickets is very expensive for what the place is. We went based on reviews that the excursion isn’t only for children however we disagree. This was definitely designed for a much younger audience and was underwhelming as most of the rides were children only too.
The show would have been better if there was some dialogue involved to tell the story instead of purely light/costume based.
Staff are very helpful and polite and there are many places to grab ice cream or water.
If you’re interested in something very visual based, you may be happy with it but we were underwhelmed by the experience considering the money we paid.

Amazing! People told me this is more for kids, but they were wrong adults can enjoy also. The show was breathtaking and the castle and river of lights was breathtaking. I am just sorry it didn't last longer, as its a huge park. The Driver was nice and agency (IAsia) also provide with all info needed. Great Value as well

I absolutely loved this place! I felt like a big kid. The colors, parade, shopping and lights are absolutely stunning! The place was immaculate! The restrooms were even beautiful! The buffet area is the biggest and cleanest I’ve ever seen!! Can’t wait to come back and bring my niece. You have to go here when in Phuket! I don’t have a negative thing to say about it and would definitely visit again!

Had such an amazing night and experience at Carnival Magic Theme Park! Purchased the tickets for on Viator.com for $135CA/person. There was buffet dinner provided from 5:30pm with lots of food selections and a large seating area! The buffet was 3/5 as I do feel that some of their food may not have been freshly made as I had a stomach ache the next day (I could confirm this as my friends and I have been eating the same meals the day of and 7 days prior, they had no stomachaches since they didn't go to Carnival Magic). I would recommend to buy only their admission entry & shuttle ticket and eat elsewhere prior before going in if you have a sensitive stomach and you'll save money too.
The washroom was super cool and had fancy lights with a water fountain in the centre. We were told that there was a parade outside at 7:15pm which was really fun! The show’s at 8:30pm and you can’t bring your phone inside during the live performance which we kept stored inside the locker. Not sure how the lady sitting beside me during the show was able to bring her phone inside lol
The show was really cool of all the large different statue designs that they had of sharing the story plot through the characters and music. There was no talking but moreso focused on dancing and them floating around in the air. The dad sitting beside us did fall asleep too which was funny.
The light show impressed me the most and it was around a 20min walk outside! Super gorgeous and huge to walk around to check out. Fun activity for couples and families with kids!
