Two days before they called me saying that due to logistics we do the forum and palatine alone, they were left without a guide, and they advanced the time by 30 minutes and that they would return 20 euros of the 58 that the entrance cost (of which they returned 16) or canceled it. I didn't do it because I thought there wouldn't be any tickets there for two days.
At the time of the meeting, after spending 20 minutes surrounding the site without finding it (the entire road with construction fences that did not allow us to see the subway or the meeting point), I called the office and they told me that they had already given us as no show and They do not allow us to contact the guide because it is prohibited, being just a few meters from him. They refer me to civitatis and by the way the lady is very unfriendly and with very little empathy. We lost the money and the worst part was the disappointment. Thank God we got tickets at the box office for 18 euros. They neither returned what was promised nor tried in the slightest to join us in the group. Just one word...thieves.

With 3 days left before my visit to the Colosseum (tour of the Colosseum + Gladiator Arena, Forum and Palatine), the company contacts me and informs me that it will not be possible to make the visit, without providing me with a convincing reason. They offer me the possibility of cancellation or a change for 2:30 p.m., when my reservation was scheduled for 3:00 p.m. When I check the website, I see that there is a tour with seats available at 3:30 p.m. and I try to request the change, but they deny me. They insist that the only option is the 2:30 pm tour (reduced visit to the Colosseum only, not including the Forum and the Palatine) or cancellation.
Unfortunately, this has been a horrible experience. There is no commitment on the part of the company nor do they make any effort to find a satisfactory solution. I would not recommend anyone to hire their services.

A perfect tour if you want to know the history of Rome in general terms...our guide explained the different historical and artistic stages, even providing photographs to make us perceive the differences between the current state and what the Colosseum was like before, highlighting the small details, and giving us the possibility of taking photographs at the best points.
The tour has been very fun and very instructive...I will surely repeat the next time I come with the family.

We requested a refund more than 15 days in advance due to a high-risk pregnancy and this LITTLE EMPATHY company did not refund our money, which is why we do not recommend taking tours with them since they did not even refund us 50% when all the tours had EMPATHY as it was a cause of force majeure and they left us reading without answering the messages BE CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY.

We feel scammed by civitatis and tourismotion Roma. We booked a tour on January 30 to do it on February 25, after paying €163. 2 hours later we had to cancel it for the next day, giving us the option to do so. Now it turns out that they are charging us for the 2 reservations, claiming that there was a cancellation option until January 24. "If we caught it on January 30." Civitatis blames tourismotion Rome and these blame Civitatis. Result: You have spent €163 on us and you have lost a few clients and we will give you all the bad publicity you deserve!!

The night before, my husband, my 10-month-old daughter and I caught gastroenteritis. The next morning (after spending a very bad night) we had booked this tour. We tried to contact both civitatis and them before going, since we were not in a healthy condition. Not receiving any type of response, we went to the meeting point so as not to lose the €100 and try to change it to another day. When talking to the person in charge (I think his name was Luziano) he told us that he was not going to change it for us, that if we were not okay, he would be sorry and that we would lose the money, that if not, we should go in, see the Colosseum and go to the hotel. I told him that my daughter was not feeling well and that she was going to bother the group with her cries, but she told me that today I could bother her and tomorrow someone else... the truth is that it was a pretty terrible treatment, and very, very inhumane.

After losing sight of the guide for a second we tried to contact all possible telephone numbers, they told us where we should meet...at that point the group did not pass by at any time...something that the guide confirmed to us later.The Goty guide She passed all the entrances to the Coliseum without knowing that people from her group were missing. They did not contact her via call, only a message that she saw when they were inside. They call us and write to us, lying, saying that they are waiting for us to enter the Colosseum when it is completely a lie since we heard the conversation they were having on the radio and the group was already inside, the guide came out later and confirmed that he had not taken the exit. that they told us. Disastrous management of which they ignore and direct you to complain in civitatis...which also disclaim responsibility.Shameful...after taking all the measures on our part it is worthless...they are unpresentable. In any tour or visit, at least they ensure that the same number of people as tickets pass through the entrances.

Overall a great experience. I highly recommend doing and you see a lot of gorgeous sites. The tour guide was also excellent and very informative. However, she never took us on the Colosseum floor as which we were supposed to, per the description when I signed up for the tour

Of all the tours we did in Rome, this was the worst! The tour guide- an older lady was absolutely awful. We were meant to have 30 in the group and only 17 turned up by time of departure so we left. Though it is advertised as a skip the line experience, unlike our tour at the Vatican which was skip the line, this was not. Your group gets added to the queue for groups which was even longer than the individual ticket holders line. If I was to go to the Colosseum, I would not bother with the tour but instead buy an individual ticket. It wasn't until about 1.5 hours into the 3 hour tour that the tour guide bothered to take any sort of register, by that point, a couple of people had already left. She had been a tour guide for over 20 years and it was evident, as she seemed to no longer care about the quality of her tour, which was awful. There was information overload at times and no information at others. The tour was also a lot longer than it needed to be. Other people also commented that the tour was bad but she seemed to not be self aware of this. The best part was when it ended. A waste of an afternoon in Rome.
