Rosslyn Chapel and Hadrian's Wall Small Group Tour from Edinburgh

All stops were awesome - Rosslyn Chapel is fantastic, Melrose Abbey was closed but the property was open, Hadrians Wall was excellent, and Jedburgh Abbey would have been great but it was closed and we wouldn't have had time for a visit anyways.
Callum was outstanding, what we could see and visit were more than worthwhile, and we will book with Viator again.

My wife and I originally picked this tour because I wanted to see Hadrian's Wall and the other stops seemed interesting. We did not anticipate that the landscape of the Borders would be so hauntingly beautiful. Up to Hadrian's Wall was a nice little hike surrounded by cute sheep. Rosslyn Chapel was stunning and we learned a little about it's history and got to walk around the grounds. We happened to stop at Melrose during their Book Festival so the little town was very bustling and decorated for the festivities! If you are lucky enough to get Angela as your guide you will be in great hands! She had very interesting stories and facts about the regions we were in and she played wonderful music that added to the experience.

Angela's historical commentary throughout the trip plus her curated selection of music matching the stories made the trip so much more enjoyable. The sites were great (more time at Rosslyn Chapel vs Melrose Abbey would have been better for me personally). It was a great day and so glad I picked this tour.

Weather was ordinary and the tour was very long but Angela our guide made all the difference. Her bubbly personality combined with her extensive knowledge which she shared with us was amazing. Whatever you are paying her she is worth a lot more. Actually the tour should only get 4 stars and Angela 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The majority of the 11 hr tour we chose was spend in the van. Our guide, Angela, made the entire time entertaining. She shared historical and current facts as well as legends and myths. She had soundtracks of both old and modern songs that related to the areas we were seeing. She was just as engaging at the end of the trip as she was at the start. (I don’t know how!) Next time, I would request a private tour with Angela and get her input on what sights to see.

Excellent driver and guide (Angela). She was very informative, considerate of travel needs and gave us an excellent day. I would highly recommend her tours.

This was a very full day, we covered a lot of ground and got to see so much. I was really amazed at the scenery at the border of England and Scotland. Our guide, Euan, gave us so much history and did a great job taking us around. We went to areas I didn't know too much about, and I'm so glad I got to see them!

Angela the tour guide was wonderful! Wish she was on our other tour we took. She set the bar high. Sites were great and luckily had beautiful weather.

Our guide Angela was the best. She was very detailed in her explanations, told us many Scottish stories, and played traditional and popular songs when we had long periods on the bus. She was very timely and clearly had thought out every aspect of this tour.
