We were thrilled with our winery tour with Arthur! We were treated like gold at every winery we visited, they all know and respect Arthur. He kept us on schedule without ever feeling rushed, kept our purchases in order and kept us informed and amused with all his information about the wineries, history and fun facts! It was a fabulous day and would 100% recommend Teehouse Wine Tours!

If you want a top-notch guided wine tour in Kelowna, I highly recommend Teehouse Wine Tours! Arthur picked us up on time in a very comfortable Mercedes Benz shuttle. He’s very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and our whole group (9 ladies) absolutely adored him! He has made a good name for himself in the industry and is well respected by all the wineries. Support this small local business, you’ll be treated like gold!

Arthur, our tour guide, was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. We toured with him two separate days and we had a blast both days. He was on time and went out of his way to pick us up to take us to breakfast first. Would highly recommended Teehouse Tours for your Kelowna wine experience.

Arthur was great! Knowledgeable, friendly, professional, helpful, considerate; you can’t say enough! The wineries themselves were fantastic. The ambiance could not have been better. Of course some wines were better than others but that goes to individual tastes.

We enjoyed the group we were with. The guide tried however there were many rules which lead to a less enjoyable time. For the price each individual should have received their own container for snacks. The last two wineries should have been a choice we made as the ones we visited were not good as the group threw away the majority of the wines.

Four friends and I attended this tour in early September. I must say that our feelings towards the tour are mixed.

Arthur was our tour guide who was an absolute Gent and an absolute pleasure to have as a tour guide.

We visited five wineries during our tour: Quail's Gate, The Hatch, Mission Hill, Mt.Boucherie and Blackswift.

Quail's Gate: We tasted four wines while visiting Quail's Gate which were all pre-selected as part of their Estate Tasting (which was $15 if you were to do yourself). The wines were nice in particular the first and fourth. We didn't receive much attention or guidance from the Quail's Gate representative as to how we should taste the wine which was disappointing.

The Hatch: We started off our tasting with a little novelty - one of my friends opened our first bottle of wine with a small shovel, which was a bit of fun. In terms of a winery, The Hatch is very boujee and a bit alternative which we enjoyed. We tasted about six wines while at The Hatch, all of which we enjoyed. Our representative was very attentive which we appreciated.

Mission Hill: This was the highlight of our tour by a long shot! First the winery and it's gardens/surrounding areas is picturesque. We were greeted upon arrival with a beautiful breakfast wine, we were then led into a stunning private tasting area where we sampled four breathtaking wines. We were fully accompanied by a Mission Hill representative the entire time who spoke us through each wine and was more than happy to take any questions. I cannot recommend visiting Mission Hill highly enough.

Mt. Boucherie: Mission Hill was the creme de la creme of our tour, Mt. Boucherie was a complete 180 degree rotation and really put a damper on our tour. We tasted four wines while visiting this winery and I don't think the four glasses together would equate to one glass we received in Mission Hill. Arthur told us each winery has a minimum of 1 oz, which it appeared we didn't receive at Mt. Boucherie with reference to what we received in the other wineries. All of the other wineries informed us it takes at least three sips before your pallet determines whether you appreciate the wine or not, this was not possible as the Mt. Boucherie servings only gave two sips. I cannot stress enough how bad our experience was at Mt. Boucherie. In my opinion, you should not visit this winery.

Blackswift: We concluded our tour visiting the Blackswift winery. This was a fitting winery to bring an end to our day as it had the most beautiful view of all we had visited. We sampled four wines here also which were all very nice.

In summary - the tour itself is overpriced, we paid $200 each to visit five wineries, prices to visit each privately vary but in total I would estimate it would cost no more than $100 to visit all five from looking online. Five in honestly is too much to visit, I would recommend Mission Hill, The Hatch and Blackswift.

The drinks and snacks we received were a small bottle of water and some cheap cheese and crackers which could not have costed more than $5. A big benefit was getting privately driven around by Arthur who was very informative the entire tour, however taking everything together it still works out extremely overpriced.

In addition to our $200, we also had to tip Arthur - a recommendation of 15% was given. I cannot complement Arthur enough but asking for another $30 on top of the already paid $200 seemed unfair. We did tip Arthur given his excellent service but given the cost of the tour, we felt this should have been included.

The only reason I would recommend this tour is to visit Mission Hill if fully booked out during your stay in Kelowna, otherwise book privately.

Let me preface by saying i am not nor have i ever been a wine person. Having said that, it was my idea to go on a wine tour as my wife and friends do enjoy wine and i would like to like wine.
We Chose Teehouse tours for no particular reason as we had no experience with these tour and no opinion either way. we were just looking for a fun tour and this seemed to check our boxes.
Arthur was in contact with us from the start and setting up pick up locations and times was super easy. He met us at our Condo and the fun began. He was beyond friendly and even gave us a little tour around Kelowna as we had a bit of time till we picked up the other group on the tour. We did tastings at Quails Gate, the Hatch and the extremely beautiful Mission Hill Winery to name a few.
Arthur was beyond organized and everything was set up and ready to go at each venue. All purchases were marked and carried off to the Van by Arthus so as we could all soak up the entire experience with absolutely no worries. All the wineries seemed to really Know Arthur and you could really see the mutual respect they all have for each other. He even delivered Tim Hortons to the staff at one of our stops.
This tour was top shelf for sure and. We did another tour with a different company a couple days later and they were surprised that Mission hill was on his tour as it seems to be a difficult one to book.
Hands down great experience and can not recommend Arthur and Teehouse tours enough.
