The tour is handled by an independent agency. Audio devices were distributed to us. When the tour was finished, it was complicated to find the location of where to return the audio devices. When renting through the Alhambra, it is much easier to return the audio devices and not have to walk, so much to find the location

This was our first visit to Granada, and we were really looking forward to viewing the different parts of the Alhambra. I would recommend using an actual guide because the whole complex is very confusing with numerous entrances and the official ticket office is somewhere quite different, which would be hard to get to if you just climbed uphill for 15 minutes. While the folks at the self guided office were very pleasant, I don’t feel that we received any true guidance on how to handle our visit and that impacted the quality and enjoyment. Next time, if I used a self guided option, I would tell my taxi guy to wait while we went into the office and signed out the two iPhones with earpieces, which is the gist of the self guided tour. Then we would get back in the taxi and have him drop us off at the ticket office to give her ticket. Then I would get back in the taxi and have him drop us off at the foot of the fortress which would save seven minutes of the uphill climb. The complex itself done it and really takes your breath away. You of the city is amazing! I highly recommend visiting this ancient site.

MY TOP TOUR site to avoid if you don't want to have unpleasant surprises! We paid for a visit to the Alhambra, the Generalife and Palace of Carlos V. But the appointment location given on the MY TOP TOUR website was wrong. You had to look for a guide in French with an Orange umbrella. But nothing on the horizon. There were 5 of us in the same situation.

I wish I would read the reviews before buying the tickets.
You should buy tickets from the official Ahambra site in advance and stay away from My To Tour. They charge several times more than the official website and sell you their downloadable audio guide for tens of euros while you can get the official online audio guide in more languages for free.
If you buy your tickets one or two days before the visit, then this intermediary is probably your only chance.
Otherwise, just check the official site a couple of weeks in advance and you will save lots of euros.

I booked 3 weeks in advance on alhambragranada-tickets.org. The same ticket you would get for 10 euros at the official website, you get it for 45 euros on theirs. There is an audio guide included but you can get this for free on site. Also, when I booked it wasn't clear that we don't get entry to the Nasrid palace so missed that... Really a shame for Granada, which otherwise has been hospitable and welcoming. AVOID THEM

It is a scam , you go there , to find that you should pick up the tickets from Top Tourist , an office down the hill needs a 10 min walking in a very steep hill , and for your surprise you can’t enter the palace after your return to AlHambra palace , since all these tickets are limited to visit the garden only , even that you paid a full price for it, and since the Top tourist is down the hill , you would say the hell with them, I am not going to walk this stress test walk again, this has happened to other family as well, it is a total scam this office Top Tourist, and a new way to rip your money, I would advise to buy your entry tickets directly from AlHambra web site it is more reliable and guaranteed entry.
I faced the employee at Top Tourist about the issue and they were so rude and unprofessional, on May 25/2024 around 1:30 pm

You have to be their office half an hour which waste of time and you have to climb all the way in th who’ll. definetly uou need to buy the ticket from official site. My mistake was I supposed that is the only chance. They just sell the same price with double including some granda monuments. Very impractical the validity was only 1 day (it is written 2 days but it starts one day earlier than ticket delivery!!!) so no chance to visit them anyway. I feel myself cheated , I paid 89 eur only to see gardens instead of 46 eur!!!

I gave one star because it is not possible to give less.
DO NOT BUY on this site. It presents itself as an "official" site but instead resells tickets at scalper prices. Paid 90 euros for 2 tickets and received tickets with a price of 19 euros indicated. Since I have not yet taken advantage of the visit, I demand a cancellation of the purchase and a refund of the amount paid.
I found tickets available at the correct price on the REAL official website.

The tickets are way too expensive, they charge €75 while the tickets are only €18.
We accidentally booked the wrong day, but there is no way to rebook or get your money back.
When booking, it seems as if you get the official ticket site of the museum, but this is certainly not the case. They are scammers!!!
