The War Remnants Museum is a very sobering experience. Well worth a visit to get the Vietnamese view of the war. The Cu Chi Tunnels also bring home the fact of just how many decades the Vietnamese were fighting for independence against various occupiers. Also, a mention to our tour guide, Jason, very enthusiastic.

I came with my son to Vietnam to understand more about the Virnam war.
During my youth I followed the war by the newspapers of that time . Peter , our guide explained to us events of the war, I recommend this tour to every one, war is always terrible but the history can teach us not to repeat wars in the future .
Thanks again to Peter our guide

These places pose a very good combination as the Cu Chi Tunnels brought me to how the people actually survived at that time and the tools and strategies they amazingly did. If you like history, this is best for you. The War Remnants Museum enriched the knowledge as well because of the photos that depicted the life and suffering of the past. It makes you appreciate of life now basically.

For a veteran who followed events of the conflict in Vietnam in the 1970s, the visit to the museum was very interesting. The military hardware displayed outside was interesting . Photographs of various happenings during those traumatic years should inspire all who visit to understand that wars are harmful and bring misery.

This was a walk through a propaganda mill. There were some interesting photos, but not much in the way of fascinating objects.
