We were told about this class by my brother and sister-in-law, who raved about and right they were! We were picked up on time and taken to the markets where chef Tommy explained many of the key ingredients used in Balinese cooking as well as explaining the daily offerings - super interesting. From the markets we went to the restaurant and cooking school, where we were divided into groups and the lesson started for a good number of different dishes, which we all got to eat in the end. Chef Tommy made it fun as well as the other attendees all over the world - would highly recommend!

This was a great experience. We got picked up at 8 and were taken to a traditional Balinese market where our chef explained the food we will be using. He also explain the prayers and offerings that you see everywhere. Then we were taken to the restaurant where we made all different Balinese foods. You work together at your table to prepare and make the food. At the end you get to enjoy the food and you get a certificate. Our chef was friendly, informative and fun. They even cater for allergies. I’m a celiac and they specifically made gluten free versions of the food for me to eat. Great experience and great food.

We participated in this class our first full day in Bali and it set very high expectations for our trip. Tommy, our chef/instructor was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and animated. Would 100% recommend this experience. The food was absolutely incredible. Being non-cookers, we had no idea we were even capable of making such delicious food!

We created such a delicious banquet of authentic Indonesian food under the guidance of our entertaining chef and teacher Tommy. A great way to spend the morning and lots of fun. Highly recommend!

Fabulous cooking experience, starting with a market walk soaking up the sights and smells of Bali and then putting all of those spices into action with the chopping and grinding to make the paste as a base for some fabulous fish, meat and veg dishes. Everybody gets a work station and is fully involved all the way through. And then you get to eat the feast at the end! Would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

10/10 experience, the chef Komang was absolutely class - really funny and engaging and knowledgeable. So much fun to watch him cook and to help with the cooking, was like being a kid again! We booked on to the veggie class as we wanted an afternoon class and that was the only one on this afternoon- but as we weren't actually veggie the chef also told us how to make it with meat and gave us chicken satay skewers at the end as well. And there was so much food at the end - we barely made a dent in it but they let you take home extras and you get the cook book. Really recommend it, especially if you get Komang!

I truly enjoyed this experience. A LOT of food, and it was good food. We prepared several dishes and it was a lot of fun. Children and adults were in my group and we all got along and had fun. There's a shopping area/flea market right outside the restaurant so make a little time for that if you enjoy that. I would definitely take the class again. You won't leave hungry.
