This was an unbelievable experience! The hospitality of the hosting family made us feel like we were part of their family. A driver picked us up from the hotel and we met our guide in her hometown (an added tour) before heading up into the mountains.

Our guide’s English was great, and her knowledge was so helpful to learn about the area and its traditions. Polizzi Generosa was a hidden gem high in a mountain.

We were welcomed into a private home where we learned to make many traditional items. Afterwards we joined the family in their dining room to enjoy traditional foods prepared for us as well as the food we had made.

The food was delicious, the hosts amazing, the guide wonderful, and we made memories that will last a lifetime!
