I did a 5 day extension after an amazing 2 week trip with friends that Meghan and Winnie organized. My guide and driver Noureddine was so fantastic. He was knowledgeable and drove routes that allowed me to see more rural parts of Morocco. He had great advice and made sure I had a local guide to hike the Akchour waterfalls which was a highlight of the trip.

Morocco was one of my group’s bucket list destinations, but it seemed difficult to get around the country as a foreigner. Wanderlust made the process easy from the beginning by suggesting a comprehensive itinerary covering the highlights of Morocco and being responsive to our requests to tweak it.
On the ground, Wanderlust worked with a crew of expert local guides who greatly enriched our voyage. Notably, the vivid explanations of our Volubilis guide brought the ancient city to life and helped us understand the importance of the region to the Roman empire. Kamal, our professorial guide in Fes, not only introduced us to the long history of the medina and the deep traditions of the craftsmen, but also instructed us in the many ways that the Arabic world has influenced Western language and society. The food tour in Marrakech exposed us to dishes and snacks we might have passed over; we even got to enter a kitchen to see an oven in which mechoui is cooked!
Most importantly, Wanderlust assigned a wonderfully friendly and helpful driver to us. From the moment Noureddine picked us up at the airport, we were impressed by his hospitality and his attention to our comfort and safety. Throughout the 10 days, he doubled up as a trusty guide. He enthusiastically explained many aspects of Moroccan way of life (ranging from driving etiquette to Berber customs to Islamic practices), shared his love for the varied landscapes and Amazigh music, and even welcomed us to his home for a traditional Friday couscous. Even when faced with issues, such as when a hotel sold our rooms without informing Wanderlust, Noureddine was unfazed and resolved them in a professional manner.
There were elements that could be improved of course (e.g. the air conditioning of the car, the content of the Marrakech medina tour, the toilets of several riads), but they did not detract from the overall experience. I loved this first foray into Morocco and the African continent!

We had a great 10 day tour in Morocco starting in Casablanca, going to Chefchaouen, Merzouga, the Sahara, Ouarzazate and ending off in Marrakesh! It was a diverse mix of landscapes and experiences.
Megan and Winnie were very communicative and flexible from the start when we were asking questions about the tour and requesting some changes to the itinerary, which gave us a strong positive impression even before we landed in Morocco.
Our driver and companion for the 10 days, Nourreddine, gave us a warm welcome at the airport and greeted us with big smiles each day. Not only does he have the best driving skills especially in the tiny crowded streets in the cities, he also was fun to chat with during our drives (he speaks 5 languages!) and made sure to show us all the sights and help us learn about the country and culture. One of our best meals in Morocco was thanks to him! Nourreddine really went above and beyond to give us the best experience in Morocco. Definitely request for him if you can!
A special shoutout also to our guide in Volubilis and our guide in Fes (Kamaal) for being a wealth of information!

It great to see the various cities of Morocco and experience being in the Sahara for the first time. It was a fantastic introduction to Africa and Berber culture and I enjoyed learning about the history and culture.
Our driver Nourreddine was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the trip! He pointed out all the highlights, making sure that we didn’t miss any of the sights and also quickly resolved a snag with the first Riad we stayed at.
We also had a fantastic tour with Kamaal in Fes - his explanations were not only entertaining but informative! I particularly enjoyed the details about architecture and the unique juxtaposition of Arabic and Berber culture.
Volubilis is also not to be missed as it is a uniquely well preserved snapshot of the Roman Empire with details that don’t leave much to the imagination to see how the ancient city operated in its heyday.

Really enjoyed this trip with our driver Noureddine! He was the best part of the trip. We had a hiccup with our first hotel in Chefchaouen who sold our rooms to others before our arrival. Noureddine managed to find us another hotel. This set the tone for the rest of the trip. The activities I enjoyed most were the Sahara desert stay, and Fes city tour with Kamal.

Really an amazing trip. A perfect itinerary for our 10 day tour through Morocco - much easier than planning on our own. When a last-minute work emergency almost cancelled our trip, Megan was able to reschedule the whole itinerary for us hassle-free.
The tour itself exceeded expectations. We were paired with an extremely professional and knowledgable driver named Aziz. Aziz became our informal tour-guide each day and taught us a ton about Morocco. Local guides were also very good. Nice mix of history, shopping, sightseeing, and nature. Highly recommend.

A trip we will never forget! The Sahara desert is unlike anything we have seen before, and the history in each city is amazing. Our trip was great thanks to our driver Abdul, he went above and beyond for all our needs! Would recommend to anyone.

We had an unbelievable experience on our trip. There were 10 of us and everywhere we went our rooms were ready and reservations were set. Our guide, Ibrahim, was helpful, friendly, and on top of everything. He allowed us to change our plans as needed, and made recommendations for unique experiences including a meal at a local home. The bus we were on was clean and well equipped with outlets, heat, and air conditioning. I cannot thank Ibrahim enough for being such an incredible guide. I highly recommend anyone take this trip.

Khalid was the best driver / guide we could have asked for. I was hesitant at first to do a fully planned trip with a lot of moving around… But it ended up working out so much better than I could have imagined, because we experienced things that I would not have known to do on my own. The food tour had me eating things I wouldn't have known to order, the tour through the market, took us behind the scenes of some of the makers, that I wouldn't have known how to access without a guide. The nights in the Sahara was a peak life experience, and the road in Fez was my favorite. Even the order of cities we visited worked out great, some really nice beautiful locations, sprinkled with less fancy ones in smaller cities. I'm glad I did this trip and now know where I'd want to go back to and explore more on my own. I partially went to create content for my business, and had so many gorgeous locations that provided idealic backdrops for stunning images. 10/10 recommend this tour and this company. And especially Khalid!
