We immensely enjoyed our couple of hours whale watching with Fletcher and his captain on the day, on the Dolphswim boat.
They were both so professional and knowledgeable which meant we were lucky enough to see Sperm whales almost as soon as we left the jetty.
Wouldnt have missed this for the world.

We did this experience on Tuesday and it was fantastic !! We were so lucky to see 4 sperm whales dive and reappear 3 times. Obviously, it can't be guaranteed, but the whales are there all year round, so it seems you have a good chance. The guys doing the trip were very informative and answered any questions we had. They knew where to look, and where to move on to after they'd dived.

Our taxi driver was on time and lovely, he offered to take us for food after, which was unexpectedly nice. The boat guys drove us north to find the whales and it was a success. We got some amazing videos and pictures. They followed the whales keeping a safe distance while we sat and watched them. Such an amazing trip.

Fantastic crew very informative made sure we had the best view of the whales.
Highly recommended even had the bonus of seeing dolphins on the way back.

Everything on time, only 4 people (+2 crew members) on board a fast going ship. We saw many groups of whales. Perfect, quick, well provided trip.

What an amazing experience we saw sperm whales and dolphins. Staff on board were excellent, very informative and friendly. There were some other boat trips with different companies that were allow people to try and swim with the whales which is apparently illegal. Bonjour Mauritius we’re excellent and I would recommend them

We saw three female sperm whales and it was magical. Bonus having a huge pod of spotted dolphins on the way back to the harbour.
Unfortunately there were other boats allowing people to jump in and swim after the whales. This is not allowed under Mauritian rules, but I guess people can be selfish.

What an amazing two hour experience. We saw pilot whales, several sperm whales and around eight humpback whales, a male, 6 female and a calf. The boat crew were excellent, knowledgable and very respectful of the whales and the waters. A once in lifetime experience that I will forever be cherished.

This is less a review of the tour, as we were unable to do it, but of the organizer.
We were picked up at the hotel in the north of the island by the driver at the announced time to be taken to the southwest.
Unfortunately, and only he will know the reasons, he drove through Grand Baie and Port Louis during rush hour, which resulted in various traffic jams and got us to the boat terminal 45 minutes late. It took us about 2:15 hours to complete the journey. The boat had of course long since left. During the journey, the driver argued vigorously on the phone and was "asked" to hurry, which also led to a somewhat reckless driving style for me.
According to Google, there were routes with significantly less traffic, even if the pick-up time by Bonjour Mauritius was already calculated to be sporty at 1:30 hours driving time in normal traffic.
When we were still 30 minutes away from the announced departure time, my question as to why we were even going there was unfortunately not answered.
After 15 minutes of pointless standing around at the departure point, I asked the driver to please take us back to the hotel.
There was no apology or other reaction from Bonjour Mauritius. My email was not answered.
Therefore, a maximum of 1 out of 5 points can be awarded. 1/2 point for the fact that the driver at least picked us up on time, and 1/2 point for the fact that the full refund through TripAdvisor worked quickly and smoothly. This would probably be much more complicated if we had booked directly.
