City Hall, also known as the “Casa de la Ciutat” (the house of the city), stands on one side of the Plaça Sant Jaume, right in the middle of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter and in front of the Palau de la Generalitat de Catalunya. The neoclassical façade conceals Gothic gems such as the historic Great Hall, or Saló de Cent, designed by Pere Llobet and built in the 14th century.

Pass by the Barcelona Cathedral and discover its façade and the combination of Romanesque, Gothic and neo-Gothic styles due to the fact that it was built over six centuries. I like to start any city trip with a full day private guided tour. Bothe guide and driver were friendly and fun but I must say I’ve experienced better tours before. Three to four star experience with a five star price tag. Besides from that Barcelona is a stunning city absolutely worth visiting.

Very bad experience: I was supposed to be picked up at hotel at 8 am but the tour guide never appeared. After several attempts to contact the tour operator I was told that the guy was sick. No calls, no nothing. Then another tour guide was sent at 12 noon. Liana was great!!!!!! She did the best she could to fix the situation but my day was ruined already.
I can understand that anyone can get sick, but the lack of responsibility and professionalism is more difficult to understand. Specially for a private tour $$$ that was supposed to be for 8 hours. You dont play with people’s time and money.
Really thankful for Liane’s effort. That’s the only good thing I can mention about this terrible experience.

There were 4 of us including our 95 year old dad and Daniela customized the excursion for us. She navigated us through the city and gave us just the right amount of history, not overwhelming us with too much detail! Directed us to an authentic restaurant and walked us through the old city providing interesting information! Daniela stopped frequently to give my dad a rest and secured skip the line passes for Sagrada Familia. It was a terrific day thanks to Daniela!
