It's a unique combination of the Revolutionary War sites in Boston and Cambridge that you won't have seen. Then onto Lexington and Concord to see the towns where the "shot heard round the world" was fired. We'll take the same route as Paul Revere, stopping at the most significant, and lesser known sites along the way giving a detailed account of events in April 1775. For those less interested in the details of the battles, there's the option to visit the home of Louisa May Alcott or just take some time to enjoy the pretty main street of Concord. The itinerary gives the list of sites we'll visit, but timings are flexible to let us spend time at the places you're most interested in. We'll see sites on Boston's Freedom Trail, and get a closer look by leaving the car and walking inside some locations (depends on day and hours of operation for some sites). We'll board the USS Constitution (closed Mondays), go inside King's Chapel (seasonal open hours, excluding Sunday), with an option to enter Old South Meeting House. A close-up experience in the oldest neighborhoods of the North End, Beacon Hill, School Street, and Charlestown. Our tour is a look at places, events and people in different periods of the settlement of Boston, and the beginning of the American Revolution. The livery insured vehicle will get us to all the spots on our tour. Walking the sites gives a more detailed sense of the historic sites in Boston. If weather doesn't cooperate we can edit the walking portions according to your wishes. A favorite stop is going inside Faneuil Hall to the Great Hall Meeting Room and the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company Museum (hours vary).

If you've always wanted to visit this infamous town, then let's do it during your visit to Boston. This half day tour has a Downtown Boston pick up. It's a 45 minute drive to Salem, when we'll tell some of the quirky stories about the town. In Salem we do a walking tour around the sites connected to the Witch trials era. Stories of what happened before, during and after the trials and some of the lesser know sites and movie scenes of the town. There's time to go into one of the main attractions if you'd like. Admission can't be guaranteed. If you'd prefer to see more of Salem, skip the attraction and let us take you into the historic and architecturally famous Chestnut St area. And the bonus is we then have time for a more scenic drive through Marblehead and back to Boston. The return journey and tour is 4 hours, we'll customize it to the things you're most interested in. If you want to spend more time in Salem and see the coastline check out our full day option.
