Midnight Sun Whale Watching from Reykjavik

Midnight Sun Whale Watching from Reykjavik

Experience whale watching under the midnight sun - a unique opportunity during your stay in Iceland! Keep your eyes peeled for minke whales, humpback whales, dolphins and more. If nothing is seen on your tour, you will get a ticket to try again another time at no extra cost. During the summer months Iceland has nearly 24 hours of daylight, which allows tours to operate under the beautiful midnight sun. There's something extra-special about seeing whales in the evening, surrounded by the glow from an evening sun reflecting off of the waters of the North Atlantic. This tour is 2-2.5 hours in duration, so you return to harbour just before midnight, giving you plenty of time to search for whales with one of our experienced guides. The four most common species that are seen in Faxaflói Bay are humpback whales, white-beaked dolphins, harbour porpoises and minke whales. Rósin features warm overalls for every passenger, indoor and outdoor viewing decks, 2 restrooms and a snack bar on board.

Golden Circle Classic in Small group - Also for cruises

The Golden Circle is without a doubt the most popular combination of sites to visit in Iceland, including Geysir, Gullfoss and Þingvellir. We will spend the day visiting these three essential destinations: Geysir, the famous hot spring that has given name to all geysers around the world and is currently dormant, but we will see its ¨brother¨ Strokkur spouting water up to 30 meters high every few minutes; Gullfoss, the ¨Golden Waterfall¨, one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland due to its massive two-tiered falls that reach up to 32 meters in height; and finally Þingvellir National Park, home to Iceland's first parliament and also where we can observe and walk between the separation of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. Note: If you arrive from a cruise ship, we will pick you up and take you back to the port. If you have questions about the schedules, you can consult us for free. Tour guided in English and Spanish with stops at Geysir, Gullfoss and Þingvellir
